Mac OS in a Lab

I used to be the admin in my high school mac lab. Since I was the only one fimiliar with macs I got the job. I decided to stay with FoolProof because it was simple, we had good support if anything went wrong, and nothing did for 2 years. Another reason why we kept FP was because I knew that the students in the class dont know enough to hurt the system. As for external problems I set up a rather decent firewall on a linux box. What are you worried about that you think FP cant handle?
How are the IT departments handling changes in big corporatinos like BBC? Do they have to hire new admins or keep there old ones? Going from NT to Linux would require new people, wouldn't it?
And then when the bubbles hit the surface of the water it makes the water less dense and that results to a sinking boat.. the mystery behind the bermuda triangle is solved
it sounds like you dont appreciate your 3 gig drive... be thankful, I, up until last year had a 2 gig, upgraded from 1 gig a year prior! And btw, at work, i still use a 7200/90, to do graphics..i'm quiting at the end of september cause they wont by a new computer for me!
I"m not a programmer, i'm draw on computers. Graphic design is something similiar to programming. When i start rushing my jobs i miss key things, overprint, trapping, SPELLING etc etc. I tell my boss, listen.. you want me to rush a job and have me make these mistakes and then it comes back up here and i have to correct it having more stress on me and you. why dont you just let me take my time and do it right! managment doesn't listen. they think that we can get it out lickady split.. of coarse we can, but do you want half ass work? when i see work come up here i dont want ot see it again until its approved.. if i see a job come back up more then twice and get bitched about it, i throw it back and say, give me more time then.
When I was in Cannes last year they had one of those things every few Kilometers. Very handy and not terribly expensive. You got the basics, and all it really was, was a 7/11 in France. Nothing really was open after 11 there so if you wanted a Yugo at 12am then you could go and get on there for about 7 francs. They sold bread and sandwiches and stuff but I never dipped into them.
I would rather spend $189 on a cd player for my car thank you very much. for the value its not that great. The features are lacking and a car deck will do more then that.. and how many people out there still have cassette walkmans!! come on...
I think now, if countries, provinces, states, countys or towns were to start changing borders, it could lead to huge disputes. No one will be happy. Even though the technology is here, we nessecarly dont have to use it. It could ruin many things. We shouldn't just run out and start changing borders. Look at whats happening in the holy land and in isreal(same places?) all they do is dispute over land. do you think if a WESTERN world(mainly USA) were to go over there with satellites and GPS's that it would change everything? Nah...
Its not what you know its who you know. Get to know some big playa's in your area that are in your field of interest. Show them you want to learn and hey, maybe you could pick up an intership while you go to school. Thats what i'm doing but I dont go to school cause I landed this full time graphic designer job. I knew a graphic designer and they were looking for another designer. I was STRAIGHT out of high school, I travelled for for 3 months then went right to work. I would have done the same thing as most people do, college and job, graduate then look for a job. Me, I got the job I wanted right away with no post secondary education, everything I know is what I taught myself and from a few class in high school. I have proven myself here and everything is working out very well.
MOH is just like this one. But MOH is a more slower pace then anyother halflife mod. I cant wait to try this one out though. One thing lacking in MOH is the weapsons.

Write your idea up, date it and mail it to yourself and dont open it. That way you have it in writing that you did it first.
it made sense to me if the company put up there own stuff and if you wanted to buy it you could... probably like 3 minute clips..

"keep looking shocked and move closer to the cake"
Cons: "Slower processor speed"
Is this debate still going on?
Will this mean cpu's will get faster then they are already getting?
i cant even do that in my office network! our computers are 5 feet away from each other...
