Would be easy enough to throw together a bit of code that took a long pass phrase and mathematically convert it into a 8-12 character pseudo random password. Then when you forget the password, just run the pass phrase through the code again to regenerate it.
All biometric systems do is substitute a text string for a string of values gathered from the users defining characteristics. Its the same thing in the end, and you will ALWAYS want a password backup to any biometric system as, despite popular understanding, your biometric signature can change. The best hand scanners for example mesure blood flow and 3D characteristics using holographic imaging. Getting a cold can cause your fingers to swell and throw off the scanners. Wearing a ring can change your 3D hand scan. Etc, etc.
I smell a pile of low cost poor quality cowboys coming onto the market and underbidding the competent contractors. Works for me as my job tends to be cleaning up after someone who vastly exaggerated their abilities and got in too deep on a project they dont understand.

Those that go there are they with a product to hawk and the money to rent the space at the show. Nothing more really. Lots of crap-ware there from groups trying to get some quick bucks from investors or resellers.
Microsoft has the patents on a lot of the technology in the phones. This is because they spent a lot of money doing research and development. Say what you will about the company as a whole, but Microsoft Labs does some nifty stuff.
Every time this has gone to court, the judge has ruled in favor of Microsoft on the merits of the patents. Makes sense for LG to just pay a licensing fee and be done with it. Its not like Microsoft is trying to chase competitors out of the market.
Blizzard is long gone, the people who made it great no longer work there. It is now Blizz-ivision. Which isn't to say they cant produce good games, but you can no longer predict the game quality based on past efforts.
I'm fine with people saying evolution is the method, with a deity being the driving force. The issue is when they say that god created everything from nothing in six days around 6,000 years ago and any evidence to the contrary was put here by the devil to lure us away from the truth.
The aggregators in question are not just providing aggregated news but are using such article links as a means of revenue generation. Fair use does not cover charging money for providing such information nor do I think it extends to sites with heavy add revenue.
Sure there is. Small government Republicans just get the next administration to pay for things. Much like what's been going on for the past few years. If we ever get a Republican that is actually for small government and fiscal responsibility without being a total nut job they'll have my vote. Till then, I feel the Democrats have been doing the least damage.
Right... because prior to Windows 95 there where no viruses! So there's NO WAY that the old floppy disc you have with your copy of Elder Scrolls could possibly have a virus on it.
This is DOS we're talking about. There has never been a more virus filled OS in history. What kids today think of as viri are just worms and trojans. DOS has REAL virus issues. Self replicating bastards that attach onto other executables.
Unclear as to how forbidding consumers from being able to get a low cost cell phone in exchange for a carrier lock in is bad. Do you really think Chileans are going to pay the 400-600 USD an unlocked/unsubsidized phone costs? Guess what? You can buy an unlocked phone in the US right now. Apple sells them on their web site. The vast majority of people would rather pay less money for a locked phone.

The Irish, being a compliant group, will no doubt capitulate without a fight.
Apple phones originally looked like this. Not sure what your point is.
I was thinking of problems with pickles other than the jar. The kind that gets you a trip to the emergency room.
Now expand this line of thinking to include door knobs.
pickles, books, refrigerators and just about anything if you use them too often and too violently.
So what?

I disagree. The announcement that the PC version will bite so they can release a console version is bigger news then when we can play the cash cow.
I never said I agree with their stance, just that it at least is not in denial of what our senses tell us.

Really nothing you can do about it, no mater what the bandwidth is having to go to orbit and back will make this unusable for a lot of stuff.
But not by much. However I get to work from home, and environment where pants are not required. So its all good.
Officer, am I under arrest?
Answer: Only if you dont let us search you.
What rights are being violated exactly?
We can start with the 4th Amendment and go from there.

Without Flukes "Atom Bomb" playing its not Wipeout.
Next step is to have Windows 8.5 just auto-refresh every few months since Microsoft seems to assume you'll be doing it any how.

No. It will drive most consumers out of the market as they can not afford the unsubsidized phones.
According to McAfee, Apple hasn't yet let us sell our "anti virus" app for iOS so we're saying you should buy the Android one.
