This is fair warning, go ahead and purchase your licenses for any activities that you may "do" in the future, available seperately or in bulk now to avoid future infringement prosecution by the Doing Stuff Alliance (DSA).
No, no you are missing the point here. An employer has no right to guide the activities of it's employees on company time, nor does an employer have the right to control traffic on it's data networks.
Here's what to do:
1. Get all/.'ers to burn lots and lots of cd's containing Spybot, Firebird, Eudora, and AVG.
2. Wait for IPO and short sell all the Gator that they can.
3. Distribute cd's free of charge to every smacktard user they can find.
4. Profit!
Yeah, I keep a copy of the 1.08 WDM drivers locally just in case they ever start trying to cleanse the web of them. For some reason, that particular version doesn't seem to be aware of Macrovision at all, and I keep it for, er, driver historian interests.
I'd have loved to have this product a couple of weeks ago when a deer jumped over a fence and very nearly through the driver's side window of my truck. As it happened, I was a few milliseconds too late for that and it landed in the gravel in front of me and we both skidded past each other. Wouldn't that have been worth a 10 second Divx clip for all to see?
Down here in the south, most of these here folks read the King James Version of that there Bible, which I seem to remember being taught in some college literature class many moons ago, is a 16th generation translation text which spanned several languages and monarch's editorial liscense before arriving in it's present form.
So I would be equally amused as you say you are at those who take every bit of it literally.
Oh, well if she was a complete sweetie... pass her on through. I never said anything about Middle Easterns who were complete sweeties. By all means, let those through with no delay.
Your hyperbole and gutter mouth betray your (mental) youth.
Yea... you are right. Better scrap the thing then. Better to not protect the flying public than to lose our very humanity by looking more closely at people with ties to the Middle East. Yea.
Since it depicted him side by side with Jane Fonda, with no way for the public to readily know it was a forgery, the only intent has to be slander.
If this photoshopper had put Kerry standing next to Capt. Kangaroo, would you still say the intent had to be slander? How is falsely putting someone standing next to someone else slanderous?
Heh. That even got into GTA3, on one of the radio stations with Laslo. But Kevin would just do something stupid, like run unpached IIS on his website, if you freed him.
No, they don't. After a certain time, a popular-enough work becomes part of a people's culture, and at that point trancends being mere property. That's why the Constitution specifies a limited time for copyright and patent protection.
Yeah it's old, but where I've played, theres about as much chatting as there is playing. Girls seem to like it since they can be an Engineer or Medic and not be a mainly fighting class. And it has headset support.
...include a little executable with one of these live cd images that will let a user configure networking, import favorites etc and then modify the image with the right.conf files and then burn the cd? Either that, or be able to type in an ftp server or something that could store the small configuration files like a hard drive. Then one could carry that little cd wherever and have access to their "own" desktop in most situations.
I now have pending: a patent on "doing stuff".

Stop oppressing us!
Well... you might have seen the term "AVG" being mentioned hundreds of times in this discussion. Failing that, theres also AntiVir.
Passwird.
Are you sure? The act of observing disturbs the observed. Until you have looked, you must consider D&D to be both 30 and not 30.

The offshoring of labor did not keep prices down. Prices stayed where they were, or increased. PROFITS increased spectularly
Since it is the purpose of a business is to make profits, what would seem to be the problem with increasing them?
Revolution isn't profitable to those who do control it.
What's the point of a revolution without general copulation?

Or he could be reffering to the massive tarrifs the Bush administration has been levying on Canadian softwood
That's ok, I believe Canadians have access to cheap Viagra.

We have remarkably close slashdot account numbers. My soulmate! Or something.
Damn you for stealing my joke. Knowing me, knowing you... one of us was bound to do it. It's the name of the game.
...there will be more pr0n trading than gaming.
Don't do that, Dave. I've already disposed of 2.003259433 of the crew...

Just switch to nitrous oxide... no need for a vent system, and your movies become much more enjoyable.

Exactly... imagine getting a mondo box of Lincoln Logs and having several of them fused into prefab cabins and... er, other cabins.
