    Yeah, I keep a copy of the 1.08 WDM drivers locally just in case they ever start trying to cleanse the web of them. For some reason, that particular version doesn't seem to be aware of Macrovision at all, and I keep it for, er, driver historian interests.

    I'd have loved to have this product a couple of weeks ago when a deer jumped over a fence and very nearly through the driver's side window of my truck. As it happened, I was a few milliseconds too late for that and it landed in the gravel in front of me and we both skidded past each other. Wouldn't that have been worth a 10 second Divx clip for all to see?

    Since it is the purpose of a business is to make profits, what would seem to be the problem with increasing them?

    Down here in the south, most of these here folks read the King James Version of that there Bible, which I seem to remember being taught in some college literature class many moons ago, is a 16th generation translation text which spanned several languages and monarch's editorial liscense before arriving in it's present form.

    So I would be equally amused as you say you are at those who take every bit of it literally.

    Since it depicted him side by side with Jane Fonda, with no way for the public to readily know it was a forgery, the only intent has to be slander.

    If this photoshopper had put Kerry standing next to Capt. Kangaroo, would you still say the intent had to be slander? How is falsely putting someone standing next to someone else slanderous?

    No, they don't. After a certain time, a popular-enough work becomes part of a people's culture, and at that point trancends being mere property. That's why the Constitution specifies a limited time for copyright and patent protection.

    Yeah it's old, but where I've played, theres about as much chatting as there is playing. Girls seem to like it since they can be an Engineer or Medic and not be a mainly fighting class. And it has headset support.

    ...include a little executable with one of these live cd images that will let a user configure networking, import favorites etc and then modify the image with the right .conf files and then burn the cd? Either that, or be able to type in an ftp server or something that could store the small configuration files like a hard drive. Then one could carry that little cd wherever and have access to their "own" desktop in most situations.
