This is/. so anything we say is conjecture anyway, we have no real points of reference. However, I think most mundanes are indifferent to what operating system they use. They'll only use what they learned on and they fear and/or hate change.
It doesn't matter how good or how bad the choices are, they're going to use what they were showed how to use.
Warfare is not about being equal or fair. You want to win (however a 'win' is defined in any given conflict) as quickly as possible, and with as few casualties as possible. On both sides.
The X800Pro (and up) beats the 9800Pro. Get something like the X850XT/PE and you're good for another long while.
Remember, PCI-E was introduced for the future, we haven't hit on games that saturate an AGP 8x bus.
Give me a long range rifle and cut the smoke screen, old man.
Ah, the bravery of being out of range.
I hope you do, one day, find a ninja in your sights. Prepare yourself, however! For before your bullet leaves its barrel, you'll be dead.
People aren't romantic anymore? Politicians. (people can DIE when you send them to BATTLE?! ZOMG!) More importantly, the bravery of being out of range.
I want a Palm IIIxe with a higher res screen, optional wifi and INSANE BATTERY LIFE. I don't care about colour, hard drives, playing video or mp3s. I do care about connectivity and portability. A portable device with an hour and a half battery life isn't very portable.
TTL metering killed photography in the 60s. Priority auto-exposure in the early 70s, programme auto-exposure in the late 70s. Autofocus killed photography in the 80s along with matrix and TTL flash metering. 3D and colour matrix metering killed photography in the 90s. Digital cameras killed photography in the 00s
Tools are tools are tools. Photoshop won't make you a good graphic designer. A shiny DSLR won't make you a good photographer. Art will always be art... well, except when it's lobster telephone.
This is obviously the work of the Zionist shadow government. They've been working towards Jewish dominance of the middle east since before WWII. Soon, it will be THE WORLD.
I've got a B&W/350, myself. OSX is incredibly usable on this machine if you max the ram out. Tiger was actually a speed increase for me, booting and finder wise.
If you really feel the need to complain; blame yourself. A sawtooth g4, middle-of-the-road equipped, goes for like 100-300 on the used market. B&Ws have ADB ports, for heaven's sake. They were a good transition machine, well, the Rev2s anyway, but they're not speed demons. This isn't apple-apologism. This is common sense.
Dateline: To catch a predator.

You had me up until that last part.
Hope you guys enjoy buying the movies for the fifth time.
BTW, my laserdisc copy of the trilogy still works great~
Go icecats!

I'm incredibly interested in Aperture but the system requirements are amazingly high.
hah! They should just call it furrylife. businessmen... lawl.
It's because laptops are turning into luggable computers again. :/
If you want small, you've got to import from Japan.
Not to mention a lot of weed smokers that I know use vaporizers or water pipes... One of which isn't even really smoking, there's no burning going on.

Cannibalize some old macs.
AGP, PCI, upgradable cpus.
Best of all, when you want to actually get work done, it'll run OSX!
Writing printer drivers does lead to great things, like Macintosh' success.
Laserwriter + postscript = total win.

Why bother when you've got win2k-tan
I'll run win2k until parts makers stop writing drivers for it, then I'll buy an x86 mac; I plan to run 2k for a long time.
Right wing? Surely you jest.

Apple noticed. Kinda.
It's not a bad idea, really. The problem is recouping your engineering costs and convincing people to use your fancy hardware.
I love how not one of those reviewers had MOO3 down as less than average.
