    Her own site only mentions "a degree in Child Study from Tufts University" and googling for her name and Ph.D or degrees comes up with nothing relavent.

    Wow. My hard drive can't even transfer over 10 megs per second to a second hard drive in my computer.
    Then you have serious issuses. Make sure the drives are on a different ata chains if possible. Also check to make sure you have appropriate DMA drivers installed. If you have already done this and the transfer between the two drives is still at 10 megs then you need to look into replacing the actual ata cables with new, non-rounded, non-cheap cables. Even on the same chain you should be seeing higher drive-to-drive transfers than that.

    Mod me down, I'm an idiot. That speed of 11.18 km/s assumes there will be no further boost during flight, and is the speed of the vehicle right when it leaves the ground. So, the vehicle can go much slower, as long as there is acceleration throughout the flight.

    As a previous poster stated, any vehicles that we launch into orbit need to attain a speed of 11.18 km/s, which is about mach 36, for escape velocity. I imagine they've got more than a few ways to protect this vehicle traveling at a paltry mach 7.

    It's a site dealing with allegations, punishments ect ect.

    What he is saying, is that the current socket form factor will be discontinued in a few months. If you want to ensure any sort of future compatibility as far as upgrades are concerned, bite your lip and wait a few months for the new socket.

    Incidently its not ALL peachy and well. They use a proprietary client to kick off the download and do not directly give out links to the .torrents. They tested this method over the last month by distributing two movies with their custom client. Someone did apparently extract the .torrent location fairly quickly though.

    Assuming it was 160 million canadian, 121 million US: all told Moose meat is about .50$ a pound US if you hunt and prepare it yourself. So thats about 242 million pounds of moose.

    Makes me wonder if people realize you can get Microsoft's command line C# compiler and all the associated headers and libraries for free(beer, not speech). All you have to do is download the .NET Framework SDK and Platform SDK from http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/. Comes with lots of documentation too.

    You won't mind if I take a copy of the propriatary, closed source code to your company's cash-cow app and use if for myself then, will you? I mean, I'm not stealing anything. I'm just making copies of the bits, and that can't possibly hurt your company's bottomw line to have free copies of it's app floating around.

    I watched through the videos the other day, its broken up into different files for each save segment, so at least he isn't trying to hide it. But there ARE clear fuckups in his runs in multiple segments. In one instance he missed a jump to a platform three times in a row. That seems like something he'd want to retry for, but was clearly left in. Take that as you may.

    And returned it very quickly. Wait another generation or two if you really need to buy one. Give time for kinks to be worked out. Likely by then you'll find yourself not needing one and will have saved yourself a few bucks. If you seriously feel you need to have a computer in the classroom, there's no reason a small laptop can't do what you need better than a Tablet PC. Baring that, hadwritten notes will be easier to take and study with later on.
