In many cases, yes. The last two or three generations of cards from NVIDIA and ATI have largely been made up of only two or three physically different cards per generation, per manurfacturer (with different bios's installed though ocasionally a resistor or two had to be soldered in a different location as well). In ATI's case, many of their recent "budget" cards could have extra pipelines unlocked by merely using a hacked driver.

How is a Xmas tree religous in any way? Last time I went to church it had nothing to do with the celebration of Christ's birth. Perhaps if he knocked a USB powered Advent wreath or Nativity set you might have something to get uppity about. The tree and gift giving crap is purely secular, however.
And your parent can walk into the bank, lay down proof of guardianship over you, and withdraw every dime in your bank account(s) legally. If they demand it, you must give them your laptop, car, pants, you name it - you must legally hand it over. If for some crackhead reason you had the cash to buy a house, they could sell it withought your permission or without even telling you.
OTOH, if you fucked up your tax returns, guess who will end up having to pay the IRS penalties and fees? Thats right, they will.
You only have as much freedom and as many rights as they allow you to have. Don't worry, you'll stop being pissy and defensive after you turn 18.;)
It would almost have to follow AMD's conventions

Or there will be virtuly no software for it when it comes out and for months to come. AMD has had books on the x86-64 instruction set for years now. Not to mention emulators have been available for almost as long.
Loud as hell? not so. There are two fans in it, the cpu fan and the chasis fan. The chasis fan is near silent and the p4 fan make a low hum. Not even a whine. My GF FX has a louder fan than the stock p4 fans.
750$ will get you a p4 2.53ghz, 512mb ram, cdrw, and 40gb HD all in a business SFF chasis, from Compaq-HP. Well, its actuall a Compaq designed PC, but it has the HP logo on it.
I had an open mind and was considering it until I found out it was tied to Windows Media Player.

Looks like the same arm I've seen on every other socket motherboard.
Tom is an ass, yes. But no A64 chipsets support sdram. So you, are a fool.

Pretty fucking good idea. Except that every story would get marked by trolls if there were no restrictions.
Maybe base it on Karma. Or give out moderation points for stories. Dupe -1, Old News -1(ex: article dated 18 months ago.)
