Maybe it was not ever an official doctrine, but Brigham Young and several other early church presidents definitely taught it. These presidents receive doctrine from god and will not lead the church astray, that is the story right? I recommend reading this chapter from The Changing World of Mormonism, written by the Tanners

I think they very likely to be stupid enough to piss off their customers. Most of the big game studios are owned by the major music and movie companies. The good news is that the companies that push too restrictive lisences are losing money, not making more.

I thought the new Simpsons game was good at first but soon realized it only had a few types of missions and was very repetative. Its seemed like one of three things for every mission: race someone, collect items in certain amount of time or run into the other car to distroy it. The Simpsons jokes are nice for fans of the show though.

They are only competing with government created monopolies anyway, Comcast and Qwest. I have been extremely frustrated with both of these companies, especially Comcast who couldn't fix my cable and took a week to show up when called. Spinefarm is owned by Universal Music. Century Media is based in California and does the USA disribution for Nuclearblast. Of course you are right, Nuclear Blast, CM are both great labels and my friends over at The End Records certainly aren't involved in this bully crap either.

I have always wondered how The End Records can sell CD's for $10 on there own artists and $12 on licensed/distributed artists and still make profit but the huge labels must charge $18.

BTW Children Of Bodom, Sonata Arctica have all had their albums severly delayed (Over 3 Months) in the USA because Spinefarm/Universal likes to wait to see if its worth there time to release else they license to CM.
