What does what the pirates think have to do with sales? If anything, this will be bad for their sales, since people with pirated versions now have less incentive to actually pay up.
Actually, Longhorn will include a time machine emulated in software, so that you can download your new computer from the future. That's why the requirements are so high.
But why does Linux want Joe Average using it? Joe Average probably won't contribute anything to Linux, except complaints. As i've said before, i think Linux and FOSS in general should leave Joe Average to large corporations with the resources to deal with them. Linux is really targeted towards programmers and other power users, who want or need the added functionality enough to learn it.
Well, my record has to be a friend of mine(name withheld to protect the innocent), who had so much spyware installed that just getting to a desktop was a 50/50 chance, much less actually running something as big as a browser. Eventually, they just used a mac.:)
Look, if we're going to wait until Linux is more usable than OSX, I don't think we're ever going to make it.
I would have cussed him out in Agnostic. At least, i think i would have, but then i might not have, as there's no way to be sure.
Can e2fsck also defragment? I looked at the man page, but didn't see anything about that.
