Amen to that. For me, I became overworked and overwhelmed due to the inconsistent flow of requests from my clients. It became necessary to hire subcontractors to save myself from insanity. Hopefully a vacation is now possible.
I now face the choice between staying a one-man operation or becoming an employer myself.
If you'd be so kind as to share some info... This is a question I cannot get an answer for: As per your case, can more than two outbound, inbound or combination thereof calls be made at any one time?
So the 360 users only need two PSTN lines to handle all in and out calls? Meaning 100 people can, say, all call out at the same time using only two PSTN lines? If so, that very cool!
Thanks!
Why is it always a concern when there are insufficient women in, or entering, a traditionally male dominated field? Is it not possible to let women naturally choose to join the field they wish?
When I was in university (88-92) there was a huge drive on to bring women into engineering. Scholarships and reduced entrance grade averages were used to attract them. This kind of discrimination against males was all the rage (and continues in some quarters still) during that time period. I've often wondered what, 15 years later, the outcome was. Is the engineering field better in some way than it was prior to massively (and I would argue, artifically) raising the number of females in that area of study?
When you finally get to the site that is offering the certs (http://cert.startcom.org/)
all you find is bad grammar and certs that aren't recognized by any browser (i.e. warnings pop up). It's admirable that the site wants to issue free certificates, but you won't find many surfers willing to trust them. Also, you can create your own certs with minimal effort, and you'll end up with the same thing.
I agree with your viewpoint. Regardless of the gender of the parent someone should be home with the children, hopefully longer than just pre-school age, if possible.
Single parents have little choice but to work, but I've seen families where both parents worked just so they could live in the $400,000 new home with all the furnishings and two cars. If you ask them, they'll tell you it's because they both "want to work and have careers". However, did they not also want children? And why does that not take precedence?
The interface here, and that of Gmail, is truly impressive. It's astounding what Google has accomplished here in web applications, simply blowing away those apps that have had many, many years of dedicated development in the area.
If you have experience creating map sites with ArcIMS or any of the major GIS software, you know that this interface and speed are unmatched.
To simply leap over the competition like this is something that's been missing in software for a long time...
I hear you bro. I've been running my company for over 10 years. I'm not rich, but not having someone leaning over my shoulder, having the independence and freedom is well worth it!
"I receive many pieces of spam (but) only about 10 of them actually make it into my inbox because of the spam technologies that our IT department implements."
That would be real nice!

Anyone have thoughts or tips on that process?
But just wait, my friend, just wait... Brazil has some quality natural resources that Bush may need.
Maybe Windows XP x64 will have drivers by the time this is released.
A return to the rapid boots of Atari, C64 and the like of their era.
Yes, I know they had much small OSes, but also much slower CPUs.

Note this fool used "product search results" -- not the normal search.

No pop-ups in Firefox 1.0+ (nightly build). Good to know!

I HOPE that you are well endowed, if that is your usual choice of fashion.

Can you offer some proof of that?
MSAV is back! In needle form!
Yes, they should be encrypted at ALL times... so even the logged in user can't read the files. Much more secure!

Nice to see Steve uses Spambayes, just like me!
Don't real photos also rot? Sure, they look okay at 50 years, but how about 100?
