Probably because the system requirements would exclude a lot of people if it actually looked nice. Also, it's programmed in Java, that may also be a limitation, at least for the browser versions.
Sure, playing games might help you in some areas, but is this benefit great enough to justify giving up the opportunity to do other things?
Furthermore, is this a temporary effect or will these improved skills be available to you when you say.. join the workforce. (If you play games as a kid.)
Sure it's easy to sympathize with this view but that simple fact is that you are breaking the rules. In the long run i'm sure that not too many people care about re-using those popcorn bags or getting discounts for your friends but the rules are there for a reason. It's be nice if we could all live in a happy world where everyone broke the rules and do as they please, but, unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.

If you've ever read from the list of bugs patched in previous versions of IE this is hardly surprising. Microsoft bugs are definitely "special" but they are still bugs and that's what a beta is for.

Even so, I would much rather have an illiterate person that a incompetant person in my group.
WoW is a pretty mindless hack and slash game until you get to the higher levels. This being the case, it is quite possible to survive without doing much or any speaking in groups as long as you are able to make yourself useful in the group. Getting an invite is as simple as being in the right place at the right time. Often the invite comes without any verbal communication.

I used to check pricewatch and then go from there but more and more I have been seeing that the companies listed as cheapest in pricewatch have very bad track records. This also applies to many stores listed on pricegrabber and other price comparison websites. For that reason I have been using resellerrattings a lot. They list stores and have feedback from users saying how their experiences were. Then again, even with the "trusted" suppliers, the quality of your purchasing experience can vary a lot.

I would just like to note that learning languages is much easier at younger ages. If more children were given opportunities to learn multiple languages at a young age I don't think that this would be so rare.
Actually my #1 complaint was that the damn game crashed when you tried to save or when it tried to autosave as I completed a level. I could have lived with the rest of the annoyances but when a game crashes when you try to save, it is not forgivable. Heck it even crashed when IT tried to save! One of us should be able to save!

The spammers are bad, but they are only permitted to be so by those that pay them. If we stop those that pay them, there'd be a whole lot less spam. Sure that may be true, but does that mean we should just give up and let them do what they want?
"Granted, it's too early to be so optimistic, but surely the lack of any battlefield coordination in Iraq after an attempted hit on Hussein is a bigger story than the 4 oil wells that are on fire."
Maybe to us, but to W and the people who control the Press that is a big deal. They are losing big $$.

sunglasses!
Young CEOs are not in the same position as their older counterparts. Thus, the decisions they make may be based on another factor.

The best criminals are the ones you never hear about. Why? Because they don't get caught!
Locks are meant to keep honest people out. Without locks, even honest people end up in unfortunate places.
Just look at Humans! Now those are some crazy weird creatures!

That'd be intersting but it would never happen since their current name "Cisco" already holds so much recognition.

Yes. I don't care if you are a bum on the street or the center of the universe. There is no excuse for abusing children.
I wonder how many other senators are "correcting" problems with their websites as we speak..
Great! All we have to do now is colonize other planets.

Provided that the cost does not exceed the $10-20/month people pay for Evercrack etc.. then it might just survive.
