think about who benefits from such things such as terrorist attacks. do research and use as many sources as you can. program your own mind, dont let the government and major media do it for you. look at history, how wars are started, and understand how lies and deception are very important. and ill leave you with this to think about.
1. patriot act was writen with little hope of being passed 2. 9/11 happens 3. patriot act is passed due to peoples willingness to give up their freedoms because of fear 4. patriot act II is writen with little hope of being passed 5. ?
if something happens in the next few weeks i really hope you think back to what ive said.
theft is theft theft is removing something copying digital information is not theft. there is a POTENTIAL loss of profit. and (not very) arguably, this is a very small part of copying. buying a bootleg copy is closer cause you actually are dealing with money. and of course stealing the software from a store is a 100% loss of the profits. true stealing.
all of these people saying "i dont see ghosting". how many do you think are "i payed a frickin fortune for my crt monitor, i can pretend its not there to justify the cost"?
also im betting vision is a lot like hearing. some people settling for crappy picture much like people settling for crappy mp3s and are happy with them.
if it gets in the wrong hands? you dont think the us military kills civilians? are you that self centered to think "us hospital" and "us intersection" when you hear those terms and not in another country? do only us citizens matter?
why has no one from new york city chimed in here. why does no one from new york city ever chime in? ive irced on many networks for 8 years now and ive never seen someone from new york city. a city with such a large population, youd think the number of people on the net from there would be a good number? when i think of large canadian cities like toronto or vancouver i see TONS of people online from those places. what is it about new york city that it seems almost no one is online from there? its boggled my mind for many years.
"you're kidding me, right? Get UT2003 in 1600x1200 with everything maxed out and even on a 9700pro you won't see more than 30 or so fps on certain maps (alone, just looking around, in heavy firefights I'd suspect it'll drop to the teens: I don't have a system like that but I'm basing this on vidcaps I saw when UT came out)."
thats cause ut2003 is VERY cpu bound. your cpu isnt fast enough. look at the flyby benchmarks vs the botmatch benchmarks. its like a different game. the truth is, ut2003 does NOT stress videocards very much at all. hell a geforce *1* has no problems with it as long as you got a good cpu. i know, ive tried it.
my rca hardware mp3 player comes with this evaluation version of "musicmatch jukebox". this software is NEEDED to put mp3s onto the player because it converts them into a proprietary format, yes, its not even mp3s.
i am very careful about programs associating itself with files. i make sure i look everywhere in the installer for this kind of crap. anyways i make sure its all unchecked, and after its installed i go into the options and change a couple of things, and guess what i find out? the options RECHECK all of the file associations so if you change other options and hit apply, its now associated with every music file format.
and if thats not enough the program has advertisements in every possible place. clicking on the wrong area of a window pops open their website asking you to upgrade. and when you go to exit the program you get a popup ad for the full version too, with the only button at the bottom saying "learn more" which again takes you to their website. the only way to get rid of this window is with the [x] button in the top right hand corner. absolutely horrible. and this is the only software you can use after paying hundreds of dollars for an "mp3" player. rca can go to hell.
yeah i remember hearing that....... about 3 years ago. "today" was 3 years agos hardware. carmack had said that at quakecon. but then said something like "by the time doom3 comes out there will be 2 gigahertz cpus" *queue crowd oohing and ahing*

wow, complete opposite trolls, but both get modded up as funny. so which is it. they dont update enough, or they update too much? seems as tho making any joke about microsoft, true or not, gets you modded up as funny here.
another thing i do to people is ask if they have a photo of this event or object they remember. more than not they do. so they are remembering the picture and story they were probably told about it the first time they looked at the picture.
hello? isnt that a bit much? i know to make a cd album you gotta go through hundreds of people and companies making lots of parts of it, material costs, manufacturing costs, distributing costs, cost of having it sitting in the store. many costs i didnt put here. plus you get *something* in the end. a product. something to hold onto and look at. they are asking *TEN DOLLARS* for a download. am i the only one that sees this as a VERY greedy amount? wouldnt two dollars be a little more realistic?
i got on icq the day it went into public beta and it started with 6 digit numbers.
and before that i used several other IM programs such as powwow, which predated icq by quite some time.

actually thats pretty damn high considering the number of people that probably have microsoft.com as their start page from using IE.
these results arent very accurate anyways, a lot of people probably only search for things that dont show up at.com. microsoft.com is well known but linux.com and mp3.com may not have what the people were looking for.
if you are gonna use the edonkey network, get emule: http://emule-project.net
its only been out a few months, vs a few years for edonkey and it already makes up 1/4 to 1/2 of the network. its been the #1 sourceforge download for weeks, and with good reason. it kicks edonkeys ass!
not only that, ca*net3 has been operational since 1998. ca*net4 is already in operation and is many times faster.
..but for gods sake think.

you CANNOT say that for linux. its almost the opposite.

thats like the third time today ive read "news" here that i read elsewhere about a week ago. come on guys, pick up the pace.
but isnt it the game that caused him to do those things?
"it wasnt me who killed him officer, it was just the bullet from my gun"
"A man recently died after drinking 15 gallons of beer."
TERRIBLE example. seeing how alcohol is a POISON.
last i heard, videogames arent.
exactly my point, thats recorded.. not live.
"I use my TiVo to pause, rewind, and fast forward live TV"
wow, you can fast forward LIVE tv eh? i gotta get me one of those!
