I predict a big giant failure in MS's future if it debuts with no HD and no backwards compatibility. The reason I bought my ps2 was to play all my old ps1 rpg's and the reason I bought my xbox was the Hard Drive.
Without either of those it looks like sony or nintendo will be getting my money
and when my 4 year old nephew grabs a disc off my computer when I'm not looking and trashes it I can go ahead and do what exactly?
I backup the current game/dvd I'm watching and put the original away. Coincidently all my originals are in excellent condition despite having children and my own clumsy ass around.
This will not stop piracy but it sure as hell makes it a pain in the ass for ME.
If you want to be a super megastar and make bajillions of dollars then no. If you're just a musician looking to have a nice career then there are MANY other choices.
Why don't we just make laptops that don't burn you? It ceases to be portable computing when you have to lug 20lbs of extra crap around with you always.
Everyone can change. I imagine they want to try out being a friend to the industry, this will garner a shitload of loyalty and loyalty can weigh heavily into which server to buy next quarter.
The reason they're healthier than you is because they run marathons and excercise. Every vegetarian I've met has been in relatively good shape because they tend to be the ones to take care of their bodies. The rest of us just float around half assed.
.. but there is no canadian corporate structure, it's all american companies anyways and aside from being a little more lenient towards watching the playoffs instead of working I've noticed nothing different.
Corporations are an entity unto themselves, I don't think country plays a part.
It's pretty much all we have to go on really.
We can't just make up possible or theoretical life forms and go looking for them, we have to start with what we know about.
So it's alright to let him die because it may perhaps cost the taxpayers some extra money?
letting morons die because it costs to much for us to babysit them should not be a popular sentiment.
This could be a rather large market for those "walmart" families who want a reasonably priced, no hassle computer that johny can also play his video games on.
Good luck to HP.
Some anecdotal evidence. I persuaded my g/f, a graphic artist to try out the gimp on her projects for one week and I'd buy her an expensive dinner. 2 days into it I caught her using Photoshop and she confessed the Gimp UI was "just awful" and complained the gimp was "twice as slow on some things"
In the end I got yelled at for putting some "crappy" program on her computer. She likes open office and firefox though so it's a start.
Whats truly sad is your sense of humour. He didn't die, there was no tragic accident. Jokes are comming.

Because they didn't agree to pay you money to pump electricity onto the grid.
Excellent. Very thorough.

We desperately need a good long war, famine, or disease to thin out the herd. 2 down one to go?
Theres an ambulance industry?
That joke went so far over your head it hit a skyscraper.
Not knowing how to use the program properly is not the programs fault. The problem is between the keyboard and the chair.
Don't use a puff you puff.

Sounds like you're just old and are trying to play games not for your demographic. No more FF for you!
too true, I often see drag cars when I'm driving around town. A production road car with 1001HP pfft, thats nothing.
