    There are millions of Tivo's and the like out there right now and even more vcr's. How in gods name are they going to catch and prosecute people skipping commercials. It's impossible and this is a waste of taxpayers money.

    I'm glad Canada hasn't started down this road yet.

    If you steal a car you have the potential to mow down hundreds of people.

    "potential" be damned, you can't attach penalties for "potential" and regardless of where you got the media it can be spread, why isn't the kid who shoplifts a cd charged with a felony if he has a computer? He has the potential to rip it and distribute it.

    Just buy it, and don't even unpackage the bloody thing, download the working game and play that.

    I am notoriously bad with cd's and break/scratch them all the time. Before clonecd and daemon tools I was screwed and now that there is a nice convenient way to play their games without having to go fishing for the cd they fuck us, the paying customer, over with outrageous copy protection.

    Boy that sounds like an awesome job! where can I sign up?!

    Theres only so many opportunities to be stripped of any personality and see the exact same thing for a few hundred days a year for several hours a day.

    If I want to change my background or take a small break and check out the news which makes me happy and less stressed then I should be able to.
