    That's what I was thinking. He wasn't escribing the evolution of Film - more like the evolution of video games. I can't imagine people going to the cinema (or gathered round a future TV like device) to watch an 8 year fuck with the 'movie'.

    I don't think he was suggesting that any one else would be watching the 8 year old "fuck" with the movie, rather they'd all be "fucking" with the movie as they saw fit, and one person's "fucking" wouldn't affect anothers (unless they wanted it to I suppose). Maybe it should be called masturbation instead of fucking.

    Really? I'm kind of suprised, when I had to get USB drive support in linux I was amazed at how easy it was (well for something involving drivers in Linux). Just tick off USB Mass Storage support in make menuconfig, recompile and a it works. USB seems to be one of those things Linux gets to work as easily as windows. Like I can plug in a USB gamepad for example and it'll work out of the bvox, or a USB mouse, or my USB camera. But I guess as always YMMV.

    Well theres no default Linux fs. Distro's use various and sundry default FSes. Some use Reiser, others Ext3 still others stick with ext2.

    And, AFAIK, you can't encode anything executable in an MP3.
    Its unlikely, but conceivibly you could encode an "mp3" to take advantage of a buffer overflow. Not likely, but possible.
