    (except for their one CPU engineering failure, the Pentium Pro, which was too ambitiously designed). The P2 and P3 core based on the PPRO, Hardly a failure IMO!

    I guessing but if you don't have access to food you would definitely be below the poverty line... From the CIA world fact book it clearly states that only 10% of Chinas population is below the poverty line. So I doubt that 70% of the population is an accurate figure

    Yes I can. Gun is unloaded, locked in cabinet. Only one key, on my keychain. Ammo is also locked, somewhere else. Generally locked box inside of a safe. Only one person knows combo of safe, location of key (not on keychain), as well as location of safe itself

    So in an Emergency just how do you protect your self with these unloaded locked up guns?

    America has more gun deaths than any other 1st world country. So it would seem these laws do protect you very well indeed!

    Very impressive listing one test application to back up ya this setup is faster... Personally the only applications that I would require more CPU grunt is Games... And how many games support Multi-CPU rigs, not many. So it really depends what ya priority is..

    The Biggest use I can see for a device like this ( from a geeks point of view) would be web serving on the sofa, during ads etc through some wireless networking setup hooked up to our broadband internet connection. Other than that a possible clipboard type application. Health care springs to mind. A pda just doesn't have enuff viewable space to be very useful in this situation

    Well most mass producing Electricity devices make some thing rotate to produce electric current, use steam whateva. So naturally there is loss of energy in this process. Then you transport this energy to house again a Loss occurrs. Then ya use this to create a rotational force to drive your car. So hydro carbon -> kinetic -> electric-> kinetic is better than hydro carbon -> kinetic ? I think not.

    Yeah but the fact Macs are getting slower and slower when comparred to PCs doesn't help. Amiga had a good user base but because of the lack of hardware support ,poor support for the Hdd. And 2 exspenive a base unit. slowly making them fade away.

    Yes but most pple who want one of these already have a PC and would like to be able 2 watch movies, Listen to Mp3s, record TV and play mame games in the living room. So as long as you can remotely manage it from a PC over the network. I personally would like to do without the bulk of a K/b in my Living room thx.

    Yeah Hitler isn't that bad ether he only as bad as any other person who as attempted to take over most of the world. Just because other companies have being bad in the past, it doesn't excuse M$ from being bad. 2 wrongs don't make a right etc. Five year olds are normally taught this, once you become older and money is involved is it time to throw away morals? I don't think so.

    Although I remember reading a banner at shacknews (or shugashack as it was called at the time) which advertised a good price on ram. Clicking on the add took me to a site which said the offer was only 4 US and Canadian residents. This happened a couple times, since then I gave up. I don't what percentage of users on the net are from North America but nearly all the advertising seems to target them. So when a advertiser look at web activity stats they should factor in where the users are from before choosing to advertise on site.
