Personally, I'm looking forward the Intel Shredder vs. AMD Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michaelangelo.
Will the rooks look like Technodromes? Will Krang (?) play the king? April could definitely be the queen, although it's a bit of a wierd combination with Splinter, who'd have to be the other king..
Game on!

That's probably the best joke I've seen on Slashdot in quite a while.:-)
Since the Channel Tunnel was 31 miles long, it seems a suspension bridge was not really a valid option.
I imagine a tunnel is a lot more expensive to construct than a bridge, so it makes sense that if a bridge is a viable option, then that is the one the project engineers should take.
Has anyone else experienced the strangeness that is the about:mozilla page (Mozilla users only obviously)? I accessed this page using 1.0 RC3, after noticing the About Mozilla tag leads to the url "about:", not "about:mozilla"
If Dell are so interested in this project, how about giving the option to buy a desktop online with RedHat instead of just offering the latest M$ OS?
I'm sure sales at Dell.com would increase if Linux users could buy a new PC straight from Dell without having to go through the bother of uninstalling Windows and installing their own copy of Linux. Think of the cost savings as well! No XP license!
You could pay the $5.00 for 1000 page views.. That's only about 0.33 cents for each advert (on the basis of 1.5 ads per page), which, if you're THAT bothered by it, is a bargain.
Of course, you could enable "Accept images that come only from the originating server only" in Mozilla.. Or block images from that images[2].slashdot.org
I have to agree -- this page is the largest on their web site, and it's only 54830 bytes. Still it is the largest, and would therefore be the best way to slashdot the site, wouldn't it?
I guess it won't be that long until these bacteria start making those utterly pointless "first post" posts to Slashdot. Hell, they're probably already more mentally developed that most of those lamers..
So, RegistryPro wants to associate the.pro TLD with honesty, morality and trust?
You have to wonder why they're allowing lawyers to buy them -- but then again, at $300, they're the only people who would be prepared to splash out that much on a simple domain name!
It seems that they will be attempting to show off products with embedded XP technology, and various server products.
This is one server you definitely don't want to hack...
Simplified,
SELECT complaint FROM whining_bastards WHERE subject = 'MySQL'
Must be some kind of annual conference, surely?

Looks like you need RealOne to play these clips...
Why can't people encode video in someone which doesn't require system-hijacking software? Are there any other versions around?
How about Star Wars in ASCII over telnet being discussed over Slashdot.
Here's the same over telnet. Without doubt a geek thing. :-)
People must accept that when you have an LCD screen, there is always a chance of leakage.
Parlez-vous Anglais?
How about this configuration:
OS: Linux, MEMORY: 1.8TB, PROCESSORS: 1400 Itanium, DISK: 170TB
Wondering if you'd seen this before? Here's your friendly reminder...
Page is offline -- doesn't link from their home page either..

Buildings that cannot withstand a 5.2 earthquake should be investigated.
That might be difficult...
Why not eliminate those ActiveX problems altogether and use a browser other than IE?

For someone who seems bitter about Microsoft, it's interesting that he still uses their free mail service... :-)
Presumably there is also a small sewing kit to mend his shirts after ripping all those buttons off...
I suppose that gives Lucas an extra reason to release a shitload of different versions onto DVD..
I can imagine the sticky label: NOW WITH AN EXTRA 1 SECOND OF NEVER-SEEN-BEFORE FOOTAGE!
