Well if you played WOW you know the PVP sucks in it since you have to wait in line sometimes for an hour at a time. EVE and DAOC are the best in the genre atm for anybody needing a pvp fix.
Macs haven't been cutting edge for awhile except for the OS. Their hardware has always been slower than AMD and nothing is going to change now with the jump to Intel.
Pinball could and will become a fad again....at least I'm praying it does. I miss Pinball soo much and it's something you can't replicate at home unless you actually buy a pinball machine. The ports to console systems rarely ever work to capture the feel of a pinball game.
There really should be some sort of law that prohibits how many times you can try to pass a law. There should be a 3 strikes and you're out law on trying to push stuff through. If you try 3 times to get a sales tax passed and it does not go through well you're shit of luck for 10-20 years before you can do it again.
Same things needs to be done in the EU how many are they going to let them try and pass through software patents? What are we up to what 3-4 times now!?
"Maybe I can join the army, it's just like FPS except with better graphics. But what if I get lagged out there? I'M DEAD!! I mean I even heard there's no respawn points in RL (real life)!"
I agree with this post in the US you can father/have children(aka legally have sex)at age of 18(minus a couple years in some states) but you can't drink till you're 21. Something is wrong with this picture.
Porn will be the killer app for Netflix. I'd rather see them start carrying video games(PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, etc...)though. That way I only need to join one provider for all my needs.
EB Games is still going to carry the game. They have only taken it off the self for about a week to make sure the boxes say AO on them. EB will make a killing now if they are the only brick and mortar place selling it.
I'm glad this made the frontpage of Slashdot maybe this will give Blizzard the good punch in the gut they needed. Every patch seems make the game more buggier and lagier. Hopefully this will promptly put them in their place and they'll code their game better from here on out.
It seems AMD has done their homework on this. I'm sure they have some evidence to back this up on the compiler issue. It just seems too far fetched for them not to have something.

I used NOD32 myself a vastly better AV than AVP or Norton. NOD32 you can barely notice it's running on your system. It's just an awesome AV!

I think the studios and such are in for a very big shock. The consumer isn't ready to move on to hd-dvd or blueray.

To quote a very famous(ok not really THAT famous) person.....fps_doug(http://www.purepwnge.com/ ):

hrmmmmmm....Is this an open invitation for AMD to "Lead Ahead"

You know, back in the day we didn't even have video games and I had to walk through 20 miles of snow to get to school everyday.

Bush doesn't care about the constituion. All he cares about is Oil and what "god" tells him to do.
Or this could force Mad Catz to put out even cheaper built stuff to sell below normal MS brand controllers and stuff.
When is Sony going to support WPA for the built-in wireless? I find it absurd that they haven't added support for it yet.
Earth is much bigger than a tiny sphere when your on the Moon.
You mean I might actually be able to use my linksys wifi notebook card now in linux without going through a million hoops to get it working?
I hope this is true as I've been dying for some good wifi support in linux.
Ahhh damn, I tivo'd the CNN broadcast today. I didn't even think the science channel would do a live broadcast.

Soviet Russia fad > Goatse.cx fad
Actually the "first post" fad is fad that may never die!

/. already. Good Work!
MS will never do it. If they do they'll loose even more marketshare to Gmail.
This was listed in the anti-trust lawsuit and discussed already.
