Funny that you should answer, esp since I'm a Norwegian living in US for years. I can't remember a single "Stortings valg" or "Kommune valg" with controversies like here. I can't even remember another European country with similar problems, not even the Swedes!:-)
It's sad that USA has become a 3rd world country when it comes to elections. The whole election system is flawed and needs a major overhaul.
Just now I can hear the ignorant masses tapping on their keyboards in fury and anger claiming that the founding fathers knew best and that now over 200 years later, nothing have changed in the world so a review of the election process is unecessary.
USA is going down the drain on many fronts these days, it's a matter of time before we are no longer a 1st world country but have sunk down to become a 2nd world country with a 3rd world election system.
Name any other 1st world country with similar election problems as the US...
It's sad that we here in the US is stuck with an election system that is flawed and open to fraud and manipulation. It's on par with the worst election systems in the wors 3rd world countries.
Are there any 1st world country besides USA that have so many problems with their election system? Are there any other country that has to rely on the court system to get a result of an election?
I for one, hope that we can modernize the whole election system. We are worse than a 3rd world country. Which other developed country has as much problems with their elections as we do? Not a single one! You never see a court deciding the outcome of an election in any other 1st world country. Voter frauds? Unknown.
We also need to get rid of a system that only gives your vote importance if you live in certain states. I live in Florida and you all know the issues we have had and how important it is to vote here. If I had lived in Nebraska or South Dakota I could just as well have stayed at home and not voted since the outcome of those states are already set. Our election system is a leftover from the days of no communication and a different world. We are the most backwards country in the world when it comes to electing a leader, it's a disgrace to this country!
Not sure which groups you use, but all the pr0n-groups I use are 90% spam... It's damn hard work to look through all those pictures to weed out the spam, but it has to be done!

I do have a problem with your last 2 sentences: "make your own life." and "Do not allow others to dictate it." That is exactly what we do here in the US fo towards other countries.
I'll give anything, anything mind you, if they could take my ex-wife along on the first trip and drop her off at the top of the flight. Send the bitch into orbit!
I've had my old AMD64 3200+ now since April 2004 and it's working fine. It's getting a little bit too slow and the video card is not keeping up with Doom III. My 200 GB HD has about 3 GB of free space.
So, I'm looking for an upgrade of the CPU and the video card and I need another huge disk.
Don't talk to me about old computers... hate them! Slow and unusable for anything but webbrowsing and email. Now I know why people call KDE and Gnome bloated... It will not fit in their old 1GB HD running on their P1 75Mhz Pentium boxes and can't display any decent graphics on their old crappy graphics card. That is why you still see crappy software like Fluxbox, waimea etc. Ofcourse the users of these programs think they are great, what can you expect? It's the only thing that runs on their old crappy boxen.
When that is said, the latest release, the 904 drop, compiled in 21 minutes on my machine and has been running perfectly fine for a few days. Ofcourse, I'm running an AMD64 based machine. Your "joke" is actually true if you run a P1 160Mhz box, then it will take weeks to compile...
It is people like you who are the corrupt politicians best friend. You, sir, scare the shit out of me!
If we can get more apathetic people like you, we don't need a constitution, we don't need elections, we don't need media.
I have said it before, and I'll be more than happy to repeat it again: USA is the new Soviet-Uinon! USA is getting further and further into the police state quagmire. Peoples rights and privacies are beeing thrown out with the bathwater. I remember travelling in the old Soviet-Union back in the late 70's and early 80's and the only difference today is that the stores in the US have goods to sell, the Soviet ones didn't. Else, your rigths as a private citizen is much the same.
So, unless you want to live in Soviet-USA, you better open your mouth and protest and use the election in November to show your disgust with the current chimp.
I sure understand that you world would be ruined if you had to wait those extra 12 seconds for the file to load! Geeezzz! But spending 2 hours extra to back it up is ok!
I run 9i and and 10g on my optimized Gentoo boxes. But don't open a TAR with us on FC2 or Gentoo as the only answer you will get is: Move to a supported platform and reproduce the problem. TAR closed.
Another issue is that when you run SuSE Enterprise Server or RH ES, Oracle will also take all your Linux support in addition to your Oracle support. One stop support, no blame game, nothing.
I've been using noone@nowhere.com for over 15 years, either as a return address on email I don't care about responses on or later when the web came into beeing on all webforms.
In 1999 I bought a stereo system from BestBuy. I was going to get a free sub-woofer but they were "out" of them so i got a rain-check. After visiting the store about 10 times over the next 6 weeks to get the woofer, I finally became so irrate that I virtually turned the store upside down talking to the managers.
After the heated discussion, I went out to my car and got a book I had laying in the car and went back to the same manager, now engaged in another discussion with a customer and said "Here! You take this book since I believe you have an urgent need for it!" The books name was "Customer Service for Dummies". I ended up getting a much more expensive woofer than the cheap one they bundled with the stereo system.
BestBuy hear this: Since 1999 I have not been inside one of your stores and I have spent over $20000 on consumer electronics. Money that your stores could have gotten if you had people with the faintest clue on how to treat customers. Remember BestBuy, it's customer like me who pay your paycheck!
Wrong....
If MPAA found Gigli on your PC, they'd send you a check to show their appreciation for your hard work in getting this masterpiece to the masses!

I accept it as a joke :)

No the only way to do it is to use DNA based verification in combination with some other form of biometric identification.
And here is a novell idea, make the systems more secure initally....

Looks like your boycott was a huge success!
Only 70 million PS2 boxes was sold! Way to go!
I have been running Gentoo on my AMD64 3200+ box since April and without any problems so far.
I doubt you have put any efforts into it. Have you asked for assistance in the AMD64 forum on forums.gentoo.org?

Yeah, it's amazing how many people are interested in substandard quality products ala Starbucks.
Do you believe you have tasted coffe after visitng a Starbucks? A better description of their products would be dishwasher-water!
Long Live Jamaican Blue Mountain!
I guess he is "Gloria" from "White men can't jump!"...

No matter what your personal feelings are about Linspire and Dell, this is a step forward for Linux
