Remember music 10 years ago? 1993: Pearl Jam, Pumpkins, STP, etc were played on the radio. THEY'RE STILL being played on the "alternative/modern rock stations" That music is still considered contemporary and almost all music on the current rock stations are playing music replicated from these "huge" bands from the early nineties.
Now..think back to 10 years before that. Nothing that was produced in 1983 was being played on the radio in 1993, that music was being played on "classic" rock stations.
My point is that music's evolution has come to a halt in terms of popular music and radio. And a mechanism like P2P (napster!) would allow myself to find music I would not normally find on the radio or by browsing CD labels at the local music store.
I just think it's amazing that music sucks ass so bad today. I don't think the RIAA should have the right to bitch about file sharing until they put out something that doesn't suck.
"But what we REALLY need are answers to those physical limitations. I have a lot more hope for a foldable display in the long term than in ways to try to make a big picture/UI fit on a small screen."
What I hope for is the Contact Lense Heads Up display. When are they coming out with that? Then I can download the HotChick acquisition program and have target reticles that ID hotchicks, or maybe even play realtime "Hot or Not" with other HotChick acquisition program users on the net.
right...
Seriously, I could have sworn I've thought of this idea before (scrollable screen by physical movements), you know, one of those ideas you think of and say "that would be sweet" and then just forget about it. Mainly because I wasn't smart enough to even begin to think of how to implement the Idea. I guess if I was, I would have gone to Berkly to get my CS degree...
There is a question mark at the end of that sentence indicating an interrogative statement. You answered it fine and that's great.
Never said it was silly it would satisfy drivers [speed] needs (other needs are questionable). However, this car is most likely for the needs of drivers in the next 10-20 years, not "today". I was just making an observation to the extent that my car has 140 mph on the speedometer (not sure it would go that fast ((200hp vtech 2001 prelude)) and that people who see a "TOP" speed of 97mph may see that in a negative light, a bad marketing point maybe?
This is the greatest result of a slashdotting I've ever seen:

I use the Yahoo text messaging for once a month reminders (give dog meds, hair cut, wife ovulating,etc..) I'm not sure you can create a yahoo account to discontinue the messages since the messages are probably created by your cell number's predecessor's Yahoo account.
Does Yahoo even have access to this kind of information? "Yeah, can you guys look up my cell phone number among your thousands of subscribers and modify that subscribers text messenging preferences?" That sounds like a nightmare of a problem.
I suggest changing your Cell Phone number. That's your easiest solution.
Will Smith's successful movies have been comedic performances and the audience that paid all that money are the same people who don't care to see Will in a serious performance. Therefore any movie that isn't going to show Will being goofy or acting like a kid is not going to make money.
I think Will Smith has a great presence on film and he is able to act (Ali, Legend of Bagger Vance, Enemy of the State)and to bash him because of his successful films or that he creates rap music for the movies isn't fair to his talent.
Ep.'s I & II have made me less of a fan...but I must protest:
Telepathy? c'mon. He's using the freaking force to strangle that incompetent middle-management scum...not telepathy!

If the business model changes to that of integrated commercials, what happens to the standard length of a sitcom or "1 hour" drama? If there are no commercials, will they have to lengthen the actual shows to a full 30 minutes (or 60 minutes)? Can you imagine what the Actors Guild would do? TV Actors salaries?
Not sure of your age, but consider this:

Capable of 97 mph and long-range travel, the HydroGen3 would satisfy most drivers' needs today.
Is this equivalent to the infamous quote: "Nobody will ever need more than 640k RAM..."?
I would hope that you could hack the "skateboard" so you can go faster than 97 mph. Can you imagine the mod chip business for this?

Actually, I took the "intellectual intellectual property of LucasArts" as sarcasm. As in "intellectual IP". sig this.
