Your right you'd think they would have time for it since all they have been doing for years is making Half-Life patches and expansions, oh yeah TF2(Where is it?) You would think they could afford a 3rd party to make port, wait hasn't the source been released?
You might be able to get one in the coming years because of the abuse that this generation of the elderly are doing. All they do is complain about how their rent in the nursing home has gone up $5 or some other bullshit like that. So the goverment may just get rid of Social Security all together.
Yes and that $5 is worth it. They have a good buissness model too, though I haven't seen one major company work with TG because of it. Without TG I don't think I would be using Linux all that much, I only use Windows now for those games which won't run in WineX.
just buy SCO, then they can do whatever they want. Really what secrets were they giving out? What proof do they have. Their probably just jealous that IBM didn't include them.
This has been confusing me for sometime(a little offtopic but still interesting), can you trademark a name. Apple gave the PowerMac 7100 the codename "Carl Sagan". However, Sagan's lawyers got wind of it, and took Apple to court because they claimed it was an unauthorized use of a trademark or copyright or something like that. Apple then changed their codename to "Butthead Astronomer" or BHA for short, but Sagan took offense and threatened to sue once again for defamation. So, after the hassling, the codename changed once more to "Lawyers are Wimps". No, I'm not kidding.... So if Windows becomes generic in the eyes of the law will linux distrobutions codename their betas and finals Windows just to piss off Microsoft?
since they gave it to the wrong people. Whats Microsoft going to do, sue them, yeah like they will win. If G Bush wants to defuse N. Korea then China will win.
A person doing a report or maybe some Quake 3 maps or whatever, so they can back them up as they go along and if they screw up or want to change something they can just pop the CDR-ROM in and load it up.
Yes, well I'll be sure to install it as soon as I buy more cds. The only problem with Beta 2 I had was that it didn't have Refresh Rates done automatically and I needed to go back to the 2.4.20 to get nVidia drivers installed. Though Red Hat seems to be doing a lot to XFree86 like removing old stuff and replacing the 15+ font rendering system
Mandrake was a little too cluttered for me. It also was slowed down. Supermount also didn't function after a kernel compile and would cause X to hang unless you removed it or disabled it. I'm not surprised that they are going bankrupt they don't seem to have a real buissness model and their OS is a little too bulky for my liking.
Your right. Though I think people are more interested in getting on the internet than the cons of IIS and the pros of Apache. From the people I've talked to they use Windows because its what came with their machine, and would use Linux if it came with there machine. Though I have gotten laughed in my face because I use Linux, by those MCSE people(yes nerds vs nerd), though I got my revenge when Code Red hit and they didn't patch there workstations. I can tell you now that not one person in the building laughs at me anymore. I also at Steven's Institute of Tech, they made us take Gym. I was physically fit, but some of the other people I saw I would think haven't seen the light of day each and every day like myself. I wouldn't say I was subdivided in highschool or anything because I didn't obsess about computers and technology there. I did physical activities, and lifted weights to keep myself from becoming fat.
Yes, well you need to pay for Connector as opposed to the free update Microsoft is sending, though since its Microsoft, Connector may be the better option.
Its all about the number 6. It makes you feel like your better in someway over IPv4. Its going to replace IPv4 anyway, slowly. Internet adaptation is pretty slow if you ask me, well not all the time, its just when Microsoft doesn't give out the patches fast enough to the clients so they can upgrade and use the new software.
AOL is part of TimeWarner and vise-versa. So shouldn't they we on the same page with this. Well, it looks to me like they need to start using a faster delivery system for memos and the such maybe Slapper hit them.
its only a game so how long does it take to fix bug like this, for a game? It shouldn't take that long its not an operating system. Well I guess we can say that Microsoft isn't the only company with bugs left unfixed.
If the towns didn't have to spend all their money on useless renovations(god forbid they lower taxes) we might not have these fiscal problems that we have and the economy may be in better shape.
if we all had OC-3027 we wouldn't have a problem at all, theoretically speaking ofcourse.

Yes, porn, nuff said. Now if they would make touch-o-vision as a feature well I'd never see the light of day again. :)

Is there a legal size for the boxes or is pick what ever you want from the trash from the supermarket?
Yes but gcc, autotools, and emacs still runs on Unix systems with not porting.
If you read the EULA it says Whistler, this is longhorn they voided their own EULA. Not that a leaked OS has a valid EULA anyway.
What, you think it will run Windows, yeah like we need our soldiers crashing on the battlefield

Actually they do make PPC servers and mainframes, but I don't think they consumer products with PPC.

Yes a new kind of material for pimp suits, you know for those pimps alergic to mink fur and the such.

why not make a little money off of something that people do anyway. If you don't know what I'm talking about its called Bootlegging.
I can beat you down 10mbits but not up 1mbit then again I pay only $29.99 a month so I still win.
come from the U.S. and comes from countries with not extradition agreement well what do you do then.
