    I don't see a reason for this project. I think redhate and mandrake are doing fine makeing some what of a standard then we also have source code as a standard... FP

    Runs Linux for network admin types (imagine a few of these suckers in your business - $200 for a Staroffice/web browsing/java running machine).

    That new satellite radio may be what your looking for but you have to pay a subscription per month. which does suck but it maybe worth it. Best Buy had a small section devoted to it last time I was there.

    I have never tried anyone who has care to comment on it?

    according to this pic they will be switching to .09 micron for desktops and sticking with .13 micron for servers/workstation is there a reason for this?

    This new game extends game fun from NINTENDO GAMECUBE to Game Boy Advance, opening new worlds, and also links it to trading cards with the introduction of the e-Reader.

    what about all of us out there in the world who don't own a GAMECUBE? Will they come up with away to transfer games another way? All in all it is a good marketing ploy for nintendo if you have to have the gamecube to do this. Yet all i can think about is all the little kids who will miss out on great games because they don't own a GAMECUBE.

    I would love to see the original zelda on the GBA. Nothing would be having the best Zelda game ever on a portable device!

    I remember Glide as being incompatible with anything without a 3dfx chip set. But in return for the incompatibility we got great performance enhancements.

    People who downloaded the pirate version were *more* likely to go see the in-threater version.

    You give a good point but it can't be proven with hardcore evidence. So it can't be used against the RIAA. It is even easier to turn around and say that those people that downloaded the cd and/or copied the cd didn't buy the cd. There by hurting the sale of the cd/movie in question.

    For the record I personally agree with you.

    Why does 1 company need to have two almost identical first person shooter games?

    I would have to say it would be due to the fact that the last game they released being Quake III has been out for quiet some time now.

    if you ask me the game makers are working with video card makers to make games need better video cards to be played. but then myabe i'm just paranoid.
