  4. Perhaps at one time on Theater Morphing Into Multi-Player Gaming Arena · · Score: 1
When i was 14, and didn't own my own PC, this would have appealed to me in a large fashion. However, at this day and age, my own PC has such an allure to it. I mean, I'm far more dangerous with my own mouse/keyboard/chair/monitor/videocard. Anything else would seem alien. I'll stick to broadband for my multiplaying games.

On a bit of a side while same note, haven't people been suggesting recently, that with the way home theaters are going these days, that the Cinema [10 years or so]is soon to be an endangeres species? Who wants to pay $10 to sit in a crowded theater with people drooling on you, and talking all around you, while you get jacked on Popcorn/Drink prices, when you can sit at home, and watch a better quality version of the Movie on your home theater, in full surround. It should be the same theory with Games. Who's going to want to put up with that, when your own system and a broadband connection offers the same thing?

So if you're oriental, and still you want to look like Bruce Campbell, you're still going to have to replace your hand with a chain saw, and get a chin implant, and fight off the evil dead 3 times. This isn't going to do it alone.

Working in a call center, i get the occasional deaf call.
It takes tremendous amounts of time, because not only does the translator have to interpret what the customer is saying, so that i can hear it, he then has to translate what i say back to the customer. It takes ages, and i'd imagine that with a cell phone, having a comptuer immediately translate, if slightly less accurate, would be preferable to having a human slowly (compared to the comptuer) enter it. Speed Vs Ease of Comprehension. Pretty common comparison. To each their own

I will however, take enjoyment in watching others bend their necks and lean in funny directions, as their brain trys to look around the 3D corners. Reminds me of my wife playing Mario Kart, swinging the SNES Controller around, leaning into corners....

Granted, you're not going to get nearly the show people in outlying counties will, but you'll get a better show than you would sitting under a street light.

As far as seating goes, i've always found the most success, lying on a blanket [even with a foot of snow on the ground], as opposed to a lawnchair, because no matter how far back you lean in a lawn chair, your neck will be sore from craning in the morning.
