Some claim to have a list with 4,228,250,625 IP addresses, but 16,581,375 of those seem to all refer to the same computer. I, however, have a verified list of 4,211,669,251.

A good service, and pretty effective, until they became a pay service. Started by the guys behind the original Napster, IIRC.
So you want to know a little bit about DivX(R), huh? DivX(R) is a lot of things. First and foremost, DivX(R) is a patent-pending MPEG-4 digital video technology created by DivXNetworks, Inc. Videos encoded with DivX technology are among the highest quality digital videos available anywhere (and with a relatively small file size to boot).
...
In addition, DivX is the most widely distributed MPEG-4 compatible technology available today. DivX technology is compatible with the MPEG-4 video compression standard, allowing it to compress MPEG-2 video down to about one eighth of its original size. DivX is able to create fully compliant MPEG-4 bitstreams, so if you're looking for an MPEG-4 compatible video technology, we can help. Read the DivX Licensing Overview for more information.
You are thinking of Circuit City's DIVX, which was a disposable DVD program. DivX is an unrelated codec, whose name, IIRC, was chosen to poke fun at the failed DVD alternative.
Proposed guideline: If you want to use wildcards in your zone and
understand the risks, go ahead, but only do so with the informed consent of the
entities that are delegated within your zone.
Generally, we do not recommend the use of wildcards for record types that
affect more than one application protocol. At the present time, the only record
types that do not affect more than one application protocol are MX records.
For zones that do delegations, we do not recommend even wildcard MX records.
If they are used, the owners of zones delegated from that zone must be made
aware of that policy and must be given assistance to ensure appropriate behavior
for MX names within the delegated zone. In other words, the parent zone operator
must not reroute mail destined for the child zone without the child zone's
permission.
We hesitate to recommend a flat prohibition against wildcards in
"registry"-class zones, but strongly suggest that the burden of proof in such
cases should be on the registry to demonstrate that their intended use of
wildcards will not pose a threat to stable operation of the DNS or predictable
behavior for applications and users.
We recommend that any and all TLDs which use wildcards in a manner
inconsistent with this guideline remove such wildcards at the earliest
opportunity.
Picture the fathers of our country dressed up like Indians, trespassing on somebody's boat, and dumping all the cargo just because they didn't wanna pay taxes.
Actually, they did all that because they did want to pay taxes. The Boston Tea Party was about the British lowering the tea tax in order to get people to buy more tea (as coffee was quickly replacing tea as the patriotic drink of choise). The rebels (oops, revolutionaries) were upset that by lowering the tax, the British were claiming that they had control over taxation in the colonies, which previously had been controlled by the colonial government. However, this is something you will find in few American text books.

Actually, that was the Haunted Shack at Knott's Berry Farm, just down the road from Disneyland. It was torn down about a couple of years ago to make way for a thrill ride, which was also quickly torn down because it was unsafe. It is now a picnic area.
An identical copy of the Haunted Shack was built at the Calico Ghost Town where it was called the Mystery Shack, but it burned down in 2001 and is currently being rebuilt.
Uhh, that is a real guy behind the glass. The smoke is a projection superimposed on the scene using the "pepper's ghost" effect (which is also used to make him vanish at the end). Google it if you must.
The problem with using lazer cutting on metals is that a lot of the light will reflect back up and fry the lazer. You would need to put a non-reflective coating on first.
If you've ever bought stainless steel that had a white plastic sheet on it that you had to peel off, it was probably lazer cut, because the white plastic was the above mentioned non-reflective coating.
In Los Angles, Viacom owns channels 2 (CBS) and 13 (UPN), Disney owns 7 (ABC) and 9 (KCAL), and the Chicago Tribune owns both channel 5 (KTLA) and the only daily newspaper, the Los Angeles Times.
Here in Worcester, MA, both channels 7 and 10 are NBC, 4 (CBS) and 38 (UPN) are both Viacom (and actually share the same nightly news), 2 and 44 are owned by the same PBS affiliate (WGBH), and 98 is also owned by PBS.
So what exactly would change here?
Telescopes are focused near infinity, but they have a very narrow depth of field. My telescope has a F ratio of F10 and a 2000mm focal length (although I usually use a focal reducer to bring it down to F6.4 when using 35mm film). This translates into a rather small depth of field.
Plus, is it just me, or does the guy reading the book at the beginning look like Al Gore?

Hormel has stated that people can use the term spam to refer to junk mail as long as they don't capitalize it, so I think Google should do the same (so the verb would be "to google", not "to Google").
I flew on united yesterday, and they were offering data connections through their Verizon AirFone service for $5.99 for the entire flight. That's right, just six bucks for up to six hours of data connection. I was kicking myself the whole flight for now bringing my laptop carry on.
Yes, the speed is between 4800 and 9600 bps (depending on how many people are connected), but it's better than nothing. Unfortunatly, I can't find anything on the web about this, but there were large posters in the airport terminals advertizing the new rates.
I use blogger because I am not always at a computer that has a decent FTP program, so it is easier to just go to blogger.com, enter in my new HTML, and have it automatically upload and format it for me.
No, not yet.
It had them all beat (unfortunatly).
I could never figure out how the darned things worked. I took a few apart, but it still seems like magic to me.

I can see the whole article for some reason, without logging in or anything. Weird.

Honestly, I'd think that would eb a bit of a show-stopper for me.
