    That sounds like a really bad deal (for the closing costs alone). Why wouldn't you just take out a personal line of credit from the bank?

    (Obviously, the best solution is: don't buy it if you can't pay for it that month, but we're talking about the lesser of evils)

    If the average rural worker in china is making $300 per year (read my other post), then earning 30 cents per hour ($600 per year) is double what they'd make farming, say, rice, or goats, or chickens. outside. in the sun and the dirt. Seems like a good tradeoff to me.

    The average yearly income of a resident living in rural China is about $315 per year. (2004 numbers). Urban residents like those in Beijing make about 5 to 10 times that amount. Which, compared to America, is still not a lot.

    I do not think that word means what you think it means.

    Heliocentrism is also a theory. Are you next going to argue against the idea that the earth revolves around the sun?

    What I don't get is, why do creationists have such an obvious hatred for science, and yet they have a compulsion to explain their own beliefs using scientific-sounding words and scientific-looking venues?

    That's what's so absurd about this whole thing. Nearly everything in that museum is owed to real science. From the depictions of ancient creatures and people, to the actual robotics and materials used in their construction.

    You can't pick and choose which parts of science you like, and which parts of science you don't like. Talk about the ultimate hypocrisy.

    Palm already has at least one device with Windows Mobile (the 700w) and soon will make a big push to Linux devices, maybe by the end of the year. But the Palm OS, which was top dog for a while back in the 1990s, and is still used by many people who own Palm Pilots or Treos, is going to quickly fade, it seems.

    Ok, but what will the interface for those Linux devices look like?
