Most of you MS trolls love to point out that MS 'stole' its interface from Apple *(who may have picked it up from Xerox) and you'll use nothing but Linux -ah ha if your face Bill- Now you're copying the interface? What lazy uncreative hypocrites. Why would I care to change when I have it right here??? Cost?? No way, I have hundereds of custom applications that would never run in linux non do I want to waste the time trying. Why don't you copy apple's OSX while you're at it? I don't know what people are trying to prove.. I imagine that you're trying to lure Windows users into a familiar environment, but what have they gained? Moral ground? Doubtful since you're no better than the beast you claim to hate by adpoting its standards. Be innovative and show me differances worht using.

longer than 3 months. It it's demanded for legal reasons, we don't have it. The deal is that for this to be legally solid, you must maintain the same policy for all users without exception. This means no .pst or .ost (offline outlook folders -oh god now you know I use MS). What's nice is: this forces people to maintain their email, and thus their jobs a little better. Of course, it's not the most popular policy my IT dept offers.

I agree. While the 9x and NT machines were a little bumpy, they got MS in the door. Now 2000/XP are very stable and easy to use. All the applications that my company uses are in MS OS. Linux and Mac machines simply don't have the applications that an Oil Drilling company needs. Certainly are are /some/, but not nearly enough to support the company being "half on one foot". Finally: I don't care if Bill is rich enough. It's not my concern. I have better things to do than hate a company because it's "big". I'm certain that when linux grows large enough and starts serving every possible customer, things will bump into each other and cause problems, too.
