Where the hell do you hang out?
You're saying you get all the Linux chicks and leave the Windows chicks behind?????
There's a statistical advantage. Expecially considering 70% of the girls I meet are likely to spin on their heels and move on at the mear mention of "computer stuff".
I dunno... don't you think that would give the 'bad guys' the same advantage we're gaining? In theory they know the place better than we do in the first place but, when the bad guys are moving 'troops' around I could see the U.S. wanting to keep any advantage to themselves. All the same, I imagine copies of the game would pop up on Hong Kong streets in a week (or a week before release).
Agreed.. I can't put this one down. Multiplayer is a hell of a lot of fun... sleeper of the year. If only it gets enough attention to get a MA II that takes better advatange of Xbox Live. Best 3rd person shooter I've ever played. Too bad there's a bit of 'tearing' with quick pans right to left... hardly matters. More people should try this game!
"Long before Windows 95 there was OS/2. A far better implementation of a GUI interface. Stable, powerful and good looking"
Bwwwwaaaaahahahahahahahahahaahhaaha
Yeah right. better than what? OS2 was crap on a stick. Don't blame MS because IBM couldn't get that turkey to fly after 95.
"To be accurate you have to say that Microsoft has *never* actually created anything new."
You remind me of redneck morons in the 80's bitching about japanese cars. Get a grip. Making it, making it better, or marketing it better is all part of that game.
What has linux invented lately, by your standards? Is their work processor somehow better? You linux sheep need to stop whining and start producing. baaaaa
I love how the spoilers made you people hate the show before it started. I don't know how many of you actually watched BG after panning the hell out of it but, I thought they did a hell of a good job. The acting wasn't half bad. The aged Battlestar reminded me of the scrappy ships in the original star wars. The story was compelling. The characters were convincing. The surprises actually surprised me. I was only disapointed it ended where it did. I was left satisfied and still craving more. However, I do hope it doesn't spawn off a cheap ass weekly show. This was well done and stood on it's own. Give this to some 'director of the week' and suddenly you'll have Ewoks and an endless stream of whiny bi-pod humanoid creatures grapping with relationship issues while Starbuck finds she's unable to have children in the side plot as a means of filling up the hour. Screw that. Keep it pure and chalk me up for the Battlestar cult.
I couldn't decide between Gotham II and Metal Arms after playing the demo... So I picked up both. I have played Gotham for about 45 minutes ata time before I get pissed enough to walk away while I have lots of trouble putting down the controller for MA.
The multiplayer looks awsome but I agree -Would ROCK on Live and would benefit greatly from System link. Oh well... Bottom line -it's a great game.
Jump in one and roll uncontrollably towards a curb... would it scream?
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Get off me you freak!"
or....
Put the baby in the seat and...
"Your child just shat his pants"
Take the cart off site
"heeeeeeeeelp! help! Amber alert!"
In the spirit of the RIAA
Seems to me that if I purchase the CD and provide the burning/source storage for the music, I should have a piece of the money pie. What's my cut?
What will movies be like? just big white screens? everything would have to take place in the woods between naked people.
Hmmmm... maybe this is a good idea after all.
Sales of the Xbox console increased 6 percent from this same period last year, while the Sony's PlayStation 2 dropped 36 percent and Nintendo's GameCube fell 22 percent.
Xbox now captures 27 percent of the United States industry market share for next-generation consoles and is on track to capture additional market share this holiday season.
August sales of Xbox software grew faster than on both PlayStation 2 and GameCube, up 58 percent for this same period last year.
Pulling in two of the top four best-selling titles and four of the top 10 in August, the Xbox cumulative attach rate increased to 5.8, the highest on record for any next-generation console after 22 months on the market.
Xbox top sellers included "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder" by Ubi Soft Entertainment, "Soul Calibur II" by Namco, "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" by LucasArts, and EA's "Madden 2004."
Xbox Live, the premiere online gaming service, saw a 17 percent leap in sales of Xbox Live Starter Kit in August.
In the coming weeks, eight more countries will launch the Xbox Live service. They are Korea, Austria, Australia, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway and Switzerland. By the holiday season, more than 50 action-packed Xbox games will be Xbox Live-enabled, more online games than any competing console claims

I'm not sure if there was a differance between the PC and the Xbox release but, now it looks like both Doom3 and Halo 2 will not be there for the Xmas season. ouch!

Anyone hear anything about the massive hack-fest set to go today? Seems pretty quite out there to me.
