I've been registering with 1&1 for years now. I have a free hosting account (developer preview) from 5 years ago. In any case, they charge $10 a year for.com - used to be $6 a year.
Go in for inspection, dashboard backlight no longer works ( but it worked yesterday), back tail light is out (when did that happen), tire tread is too shallow (ok).
$400 later - hmm tire pressure is low (slow leak from a new pin hole or did they just leave it low to wear out tires early).
? Go somewhere else or go back and demand fixes (you'll pay either way) with potential for more problems. If you go somewhere else - devil you know or new potential scamming.
This happens when you are new to repair or in a new area. It could take a few tries to find someone you trust. Referrals can't be trusted as a smart scammer operating a legit business would maintain a list of "happy" customers.
Without an arbitrary investment in rental properties housing prices would fall. Supply and demand. It's a fallacy to think that if you flood the market with homes prices will drop never mind the current bust scenario. It is the land that has value and by turning land into investment properties you make land more scarce for those who would buy a home to live in. This drives up prices for the land itself. Without rental properties the developers would be out as they need those investors to buy up the surplus lots. We would return to buying individual lots, hiring a contractor and architect and having a home built.
That would be a good thing, employing many more skilled craftsman and less premanufactured homes built in factories.
McCain was a better choice? I voted Bush against Clinton and Kerry. I would have voted McCain over Bush but that didn't happen for some reason. Obama was better than all of them except McCain 10 Years ago before he was indoctrinated.
I vote for the best option. Give me better options.
How many of the miracle workers you describe are religious do you think? How many of them stand on the shoulders of religious people? What motivated those people to do the work of miracles rather than sod off and make money investing in real estate or some other margin related business?
Religion is more than a promise to an imaginary deity, it's a promise to your fellow man to do good works.
I attend church every Sunday and I've yet to see a miracle there but I do see lots of good people reaffirming their intent to participate in the greater good and seek out ways they can be a better person. That's just 1 hour on a week mind you. The remainder is spent working towards those intents as best we can.
This will backfire. Too many moving parts to do it's functional job effectively. If a video captcha was a good solution it would already be in use. Making the video an advert won't help. It probably won't hurt but that's beside the point. People will try a few times then give up and start complaining. Captchas are annoying enough already.
Not sure if the argument has been made but... Pure freedom is not ideal. Free to submit to slavery, free to give up your freedom. This is the problem with real freedom. For software at least i believe this is the goal of GPL. To ensure that what was set free will remain free. Whether it has achieved this goal without adding new encumbrances is debatable certainly.
I'm thinking they are balancing "green" solutions with requirements. Titanium dioxide paint is quite opaque. But not necessarily a) cheap and b) "green".
Most people don't even consider doing things with their devices. A PC is a console for the Internet, games, music, etc. Rather it is a console for whatever someone else is selling or giving away. They have no interest in it as a general computing device. There was never a desire for such a thing and they've been plagued by the fact that it is (viruses, crashes, etc) and would prefer it had never been more than a console.
They don't get data. They get mind share. It a really cheap way to keep you engaged with their brand. You get locked into a workflow using their convenient tools which keeps you tied to the platform that supports those tools.
That's what happens when you race to the bottom while maintaining appearances with off the books income. It's also very hard to compete with a company subsidized to the extent Dell was.
Wrong. The kind of science productivity that gets you noticed falls off a cliff. Actually useful stuff ends up getting done but on a new steady schedule rather than fits and starts and explosions.
The Internet is not your personal research tool. It isn't there for your convenience. If research papers, etc are of significant importance to your job - you *should* have a JSTOR account.
Try an Apple trackpad on a laptop. Beats any other trackpad on any device. I've tried many others and they all suck balls compared to the ease of use with Apples hardware. I know this is anecdotal but fwiw I really really mean it.
These will be great for those whose job it is to create 3D models for games, movies, ads, etc. A perfect tool for easily visualizing your creation without having to put on glasses to have a good look. Great for engineers and architects as well.

That's because they always offer a MacBook pro as part of the award!
It's more like this:

This is just one of dozens of services already on the market for more than a year. Look up social aggregators.

Yes you can kill Flash but you can't replace it.

Your idea may have the same downside.

Your opinions are noted and refuted.
When v6 rolls out those scarce v4 ips will be worthless.

Better security can wait until you are with customer support or at least at home looking up your master password.
Biometrics are good for a strong yet convenient security measure.
Fruit- the fruiting body of a plant, that which has seeds. Potentially edible.
Vegetable- any part of a plant which is edible but is not a fruiting body.
Not so hard really.
Classic is better on iPhone at least but commenting is still a little tedious. The async response lags quite a bit.

Actually it won't really take off until it's the only option. I'm certain people still bought black and white TVs as long as they were for sale.
Peru? Southern California is close. All depends on what you consider "hiking distance".
