Anybody else notice (Grand Moff yet?) Tarkin standing to the left of Vader and The Emporer in the last shot where they're looking at the Death Star Prototype? Also, no one's ever had an answer for this, whats Capt. Antilles (of the Tantive IV, in both III and IV) relation to Wedge?
Before TV is nothing but a preview for DVDs or some sort of streaming on demand system. How many cancled shows have been released on DVD with a bunch of episodes that never even aired?
Unless you plan on having more than several dozen systems within about 10 meters there won't be a problem.
That could be a definit problem in a dorm, seeing that at least every other room on the guys wing of my floor had at least a PS2... Already i remember my buddys who lived across the hall from eachother having problems with their wireless gamecube controllers.
As an immunologist, I fully expect another 'Black Plague' to emerge and wipe out 25% of the world's population within my lifetime.
And i'm sure the cosmologist will say a meteor strike will do the same, the climatologist says we're killing ourselves with global warming and a volcanologist will say the yellowstone caldera will do us all in...
Havn't they had something like this comercialy avalible in France for a while IIRC? Its has a ridiculously strong carbon fiber airtank that's presurised at home by a compressor using off the grid electricity. Its basically a small comuter car, but it has decent range and speed.
For everyone dissing you, i'd like to thank you, or at least your organization. Yeah geek squad is kinda silly, but they've helped me out. I was building a system this summer and we had a storm that knocked it out (lightning strike to the pole, hit the cable, passed through the cable modem, but fried the occupied ports on my router and my system). Im not much of a builder so i didn't have enough spare parts around to swap stuff in and out. I was able to take my system there and get it checked out no charge. They were able to narrow it down to a bad motherboard fairly quickly. Also were quite complimentary towards my build skill (wire management, parts choice etc). I suppose something like that would be a welcome change for them from probably spending 90% of their time cleaning spyware off hosed machines, but it was a good customer experience.
Agreed, checking acounts with DD are free for you, but not for your employer. Its something some companies do for employee convinience, but a lot of smaller and non-profit places dont do it because it does cost them money.
Bought a hard drive that was $100 off after rebates (160GB a few years back). The manufacturer rebate was for $60, the comp usa rebate was for $40. Thats all well and good except they both required the original UPC. It was advertised as $100 off, not $60 off. It was advertized as $100 or something and i ended up paying $140, thats false advertising, plain and simple.

Lot more axe murders in the UK tho. Also a lot more kids burning down their schools rather than shooting up the place. Granted guns do make it easier, just saying, people'll find a way.
Uh, you do know where he got the gun in this case, right? Aparantly not. The kid used his grandpas police issue sidearm! His guardian was a cop. So any gun control points in this case are moot.
And i still hate the annoying ones, since im courteous enough to leave my phone on vibrate when im in class. I've got an LG and i used to have the plain old phone ringer (sounded like a real bakelite rotary desk phone), but i've replaced that with the theme from The Life Aquatic.:P
But i've read theories that we used to have a form of telepathy that predated language. The theory was basically that parts of our frontal lobe seem pretty useless now and never show much activity, these are an evolutionary leftover (tailbone apendix etc). It was a thing like hive insects have, basic concepts, someone spots a predator, the whole tribe is warned by a feeling, possibly the same for finding food etc. This fell by the wayside as we developed language and it was more effective to shout "tiger" which specifically identified the threat and gave a direction of the threat rather than a general sense of a threat.
Now that i think about it, theres a definit resemblance, i assumed it was just CG. Nice bit of trivia there.

Hmm, at that part i turned to my buddy and was like, "so wait, yodas superman?".
Ok, there, happy?

Lockpicking in various games, stuff like that, also fishing in fable (although not PS2...).

The new version of trillian (3) just works. File transfers, direct connect, all of it. Just like back in the day of .71 before the .74 crap.

This isn't fark. But it is a trap...
