I'm sorry but assuming the person/people that created the mod know what they are doing then a custom mod will always be better then the stock mod. I doubled my battery life by using a custom mod (iKReaM for HTC Thunderbolt). Removing the bloatware that they don't allow you to remove is what saves battery life.

I've owned 2 Dell laptops and they are still working great. The one I'm using right now I've had for going on 3.5 years and I still don't need to update. It's still fast and smooth. The battery on the other hand is shit but that's my own fault for keeping it charged to 100% and never unplugging it. I pretty much killed it.

Dell desktop computers on the other hand I won't touch.

long story short, I'll buy a Dell laptop over an Apple laptop any day. #1 reason why.. Apple's over priced hardware. It's not worth it unless you have money to burn or need to appear as though you have money to burn but swim in debt.

Are you trying to say that the Christian God isn't the same God as the Muslim God? If so then you would be incorrect. Both religions believe in the same God, it's the so called prophets that God sent. Even Muslims believe in Jesus, it's just that another prophet named Muhammad was sent by God ~800 years after Jesus. This is were the two religions start to branch off in different directions.

Religions may not be defined by those that follow, but are portrayed by the loudest, most out spoken and most violent of its followers.

If this is a private school then all bets are off and they could get away with this. Either way this kid needs to raise hell, after all he's a senior and about 1 1/2 - 2 months away from graduating. 15. Better yet, of those that have guns, how many of them were used to commit crimes. I'm going to guess that those that legally own a hand gun and commit a crime with it is much much lower then those that have them to stay safe or like collecting guns.

Also on a general note, America's "right to bear arms" was originally written into the Constitution to help prevent the government from completely taking over. I believe this is one reason why some people in government want to make owning guns illegal. It's the first step to taking over your own people. Prevent them from fighting, or in this case shooting back.

  23. Re:Correction for the title. on Filesonic Removes Ability To Share Files · · Score: 1

    My point is this..

An online file locker offers a product/service where you can upload files to and share. Some people used this for their own works of art or files and some used it to pirate illegal software.

A company like Memorex offers a product (blank dvd in this example) where you can copy files to. Again, some people used this for their own works of art or files and some used it to pirate illegal software.

If an online file locker has to start monitoring files being uploaded and stop what they believe is illegal copyrighted files then why wouldn't a blank DVD producing company have to do the same? (Yes I know it would be impossible for them to do)

My point is, If you buy blank DVD's/CD's you could also be accused of supporting a company that allows software to be pirated.

I don't feel it's the file lockers responsibility to do the filtering. They offer a service and place in their TOS stating that their service isn't to be used for sharing illegal copyrighted software then RIAA/MPAA should have to go after the users.

  24. Re:There are no acceptable ads. on Google Updates Algorithm To Punish Websites With Excessive Ads · · Score: 1

Not unacceptable, I agree and also disagree. What's sad is some web sites are catching on to these JS blockers such as NoScript and they make their news articles load though an ajax call. If you don't allow JS from at least their domain then you can't even read the article. I just leave at that point but if huge amounts of sites catch on and start doing this then either 1. Their site will fail or 2. they are already to big and people will just accept and allow JS thus also loading so many flashing ads that someone is bound to have a seizure.

  25. Re:Correction for the title. on Filesonic Removes Ability To Share Files · · Score: 1

So you don't even buy blank DVD's or CD's? Those could be used to pirate music and software as well. Should companies not stop producing them in fear or being shut down for supporting piracy?
