Believe it or not, this doesn't seem to be the most serious problem NZ is facing in the future. This fucking labour government has done so much damage everywhere but that's a long story. To stay on topic, check this - it's unbelievable.

Comforting fact is that good schools would never put up with this shit. Every year more parents and kids realise the benefit of CIE programme.

I just did the first set of tests (feelings) on that site. Did it quickly, so the end result is probably not totally accurate but it can't be too far off either. What I like about the site is the educational approach. Helping people to understand these type of problems is important first step to healing. What I don't like about it, is that my results chart is almost identical as Cyberman's. No feelings.

I didn't read TFA but as I'm seeing the same thing, I think it's the issue with livna (that's what I enabled) or some other third party repo (actually bug in a way totem-xine is packeged). It can be unchecked in the pup window and rest of the update goes fine. gstreamer plugins (ugly and nice ones) work perfectly, so totem can now be used for pretty much every media format without too much hassle. FC6 looks rock solid to me - Fedora community and Red Hat have created outstanding product.

Well, he said "English" - word in question is Latin. Just a typo, probably. As to the buzzwords problem - I don't think that's as bad as it used to be. Employers have finally figured that this was such a huge waste of everybody's time. At least in NZ, major job site mostly contains straight forward job ads, with clearly listed requirements.

Yes, obviously. That was good tip indeed.

I just installed it and noticed that non-standard tcp ports are restricted by default now (I don't remember this being an issue for previous versions). If anybody needs fix:

in about:config right-click, chose new, string and enter:

    network.security.ports.banned.override

and comma-delimited list of ports as a string value.

You are absolutelly wrong about RHCE certification. This one is almost impossible to obtain unless you really know what you're doing, since the exam is performance based. You sit on actual computer and you're supposed to fix whatever is wrong with it (first part of the exam). If you are not able to, you don't even get to proceed to the other part - configure RH server as per given specs (this may include any or all of the DNS, DHCP, Email, web, NFS, users, you name it services/functions).
