Surely Term limits will only increase the already rife dodgy dealings.
A representative who is terminally worried about what to do after he is booted/expires is much more likey to pander to corporate interests and organise some buddy deals to look after their future interests.
Fear of punishment alone will not sweep the streets clean of criminal activity. There are many motivations for engaging in criminal activities, if the carrot is big enough, then the size and number of sticks becomes increasingly irrelevant. Also if your donkey is two cheeks short of an ass.
Criminals can subvert almost any attempts to curtail their activities given sufficient time and motivation. The statement claiming criminals will be unable to use the roads is an obvious posturing fallacy.
So this light fabric will help the malnourished children and other slave labourers see what they're making? I'd guess it wouldn't improve the smell, they wouldn't want to waste anything on their unwashed bondsmen.
Soon we'll need glowing rubber to ensure parity in the working conditions for the nike 'cobblers'. Maybe they could irradiate some mad cows, it's not like anyone is going to eat them anyway.
Tell me about it, at 13 cent a megabyte for over flow, downloading RedHat 8 will either use up my entire quota and then a little more, plus updates.
Or it will cost me over four hundred aussie dollars.

This is not an interesting comment, it is woefully repeated trite. This sort of comment is dredged up any time there is any thread about Linux and the Desktop.
Why don't we just get all of the soft-drink manufacturers to get together to make ONE good drink to rule them all. While we're at it when are the clothing companies going to get together and mass market grey jump suits so we can really move into the twenty-first century?

But they're not playing with mod chips enabled, so they own the game and they're paying for the service.
Maybe if they were aware of the consequences of attempting to play with a modded box then they wouldn't have tried to do so in the first place. A permanent ban is very harsh considering that they've bought the Xbox, the game(s) and subscribed to the service.
Maybe if M$ offered a refund for cancelling their access it would be an issue, but I think they are justified in changing the serial number and MAC address to plat for what they've paid for.
So I should get someone to alter the model and give myself a bigger unit and then pray for a disaster?
Or maybe be proactive and dig out my copy of the anarchist's cookbook to find out how to make a blow up my block
Low cost is good, but it's pretty likely that one these go beyond prototype, the cost will increase to match the nine hundred dollar screw drivers with which they're assembled.
If the US says it's illegal to put that info up on the site it will move offshore.
This is not about right-to-life versus pro-choice, it's about extremists who fuck everyone because they can't play nice. From the little-league mom who punches an umpire to the religious nut trying to blow up a bus load of tourists.

C'mon, we know they just want to be on the cutting edge. Or is taxidermy a more appropriate comparison?

Why do the yanks always seem to want to change the titles of foreign movies?
Mad Max is soooo much better than road weanie and what was the deal with the "Sorceror's Stone"?
Although I had heard it said that the Americans don't understand/acknowledge philosophy so that is why the change was necessary

Bugs happen every day.
Patches are generated in response to those bugs
Patches sometimes generate further bugs
Sometimes these bugs involve security. D'oh

Don't let one isolated case fool you, the courts here are as randomn and ineffectual as elsewhere in the "civilised" world.
How can anyone with multiple funtioning brain cells still think a comment this hackneyed is funny.
