Man, you have hit the nail on the head...(pun intended)......We as a group are forced to address problems in the MOST creative ways (We have done SO much, for SO long, .....) and then usually have to agree to someone (PHB) else's whims, that when it comes time to relax, but still be vital i.e...for PAY... it serves us well to do something that feeds our creative side, so we can also DECIDE how to interpret that (fleeting and fickle) artistic impulse.

I think you are ignoring the "Batman" factor.
It's not whether you CAN "read" their blood pressure at fifty paces or that you can "see" their pupils dilate from the horizon...It's whether or not STUPID people believe it. Bertillon teaches us that "the
classes that embrace crime are the ones LEAST LIKELY TO MAKE IT PAY" (emphasis mine). Ergo, if some tool is watching CSI in a vain hope of avoiding the joint, by "studying" what to do and not, let him ASSUME he will be caught by a test he ain't even SEEN yet. The real question isn't who will use it, but who will use it WITHOUT ACTUALLY LOADING IT.......Let's see, a "browser" that connects for you, filters your input and "protects" you by censoring and "digitally checking" your music and images for copyright infringement. Then to be "safe" prevents you from "searching" for those nasty warez sites, and MP3 sites and cracker/hacker

Nice letter, firm and to the point, but in a CONSUMER context.
The best thing Kodak can do at this point, in a BUSINESS sense. is to leverage their "code" in a recapitalization move by , let's say "leasing" this patent to say M$ or hell anybody vis-a-vis Sony's CD-ROM model.

Speeding ALWAYS has a benefit, whether it's me hauling ass to a hospital I work for, to take a (small) part in saving a life, or just going to the store for milk. I really wish people would wake the fuck up and realize "Traffic is defined and structured BY THE FLOW thereof". This seems simple, but I have given up hope that people will start to understand this BASIC logic.
