Not everyone has an unobstructed view to the south. What if you live on the north side of an apartment building? or have lots of trees in the way? or a tall building?
Satellite is simply not an option for a large number of people.
No, this sounds pretty true to me. I have a friend that farmed gold in FFXI for quite a while and he made a very impressive sum of money for it. He did it all himself and sold to IGE directly. I think he may have made as much money farming gold for FFXI for 3 months than I do in a year's salary.
Still not sure why I didn't join in as well, it just made me feel a bit dirty.
Since it seems that no one actually read the article including the submitter the line from the article is actually:
"In addition, when trustees were replaced by a computer, the oxytocin effect was no longer seen on the investors."
Which means that the effect only worked when it was a real person they were interacting with. So they didn't give up thier money any more readily when it was a computer.
I only have 1.0.4 in my add/remove programs. And I've been using it on this computer since 1.0.1 And I don't remove the installation before updating, so I'm not sure why they are being removed for me and not for you.
Ok, so you are saying it actually is illegal to burn the flag? I guess that makes you one of the uninformed kids. Check out the results of Texas vs. Johnson. or just look here
How about the 2nd receiver on this page? The Dish player-DVR 921. It's a HDTV receiver with built-in PVR. Personally I'd always go for a solution that doesn't require any external conversion from digtal to analog and back to digital. And I don't know of any pc based decoder cards that will tune Dish network's signal on their own.
Actually.. its worse than TiVo. The cable operator has to secure the rights to the show or they won't offer it to be viewed from this service. And they also said that the service may insert commercials into the replays. And the time you'll be able to rewatch a show is surely limited on the cable provider's side since they won't keep a show available to rewatch forever.
Any way you look at it TiVo is a much better choice. You can record whaterver program you like, you can fast forward through any part of the show,(and commercials) and you can keep your favorite episodes as long as you want.
Yeah.. the multiple item clipboard that you have to hack the registry to get it to stop popping up everything you copy something! I mean really! its kinda neat and all if you actually would use something like that, but they didn't include a way to disable it. Hopefully they will include that "feature" in the new version, but I haven't been able to see the site yet due to slashdotting.
The episode where they get a tennis court starts out with homer and grandpa going to a mortuary and talking about funeral preparations. at the end of it they say the "Masopolem" is made of as much cement as a regulation sized tennis court. Homer thinks "Tennis court, eh?" then it cuts away to the back of their house where a tennis court is being built and grangpa says "I can't believe we went through all of that just to get a tennis court!" homer replies "Yeah, bet you never saw that coming!"
So even they make fun of their crazy need to make the beginning of the episode totally unrealated to the rest of the episode
ok.. so you turn the machine on by putting your palm on the screen. then have to immediatly grab the windex and a cloth to wipe off the smear you left. isn't there a better way to turn the machine on that won't prints all over? This just seems like a stupid idea to me
a company that has the chance to close its doors and distribute a profit, or try to merge with another company and become yet another hybrid company that will be quickly forgotten. I would think that the obvious choice would be to just dissolve the company and take the profit. They really don't offer anything unique to the market that is worth building a business on.

That would be Hotaru no Haka or Grave of the Fireflies. An extremely well done movie, but its also incredibly depressing. Which would be expected due to the subject matter

You can have firefox force links that open in a new window to open in a new tab instead.Look here.
As for #2... I haven't had many crashes of Firefox or the OS so it's not an issue for me.
except that they probably paid a Microsoft tax to include Windows Media Player DRM support.

whoa... tell me where you can get all those for only $500.... last I checked the 40gig ipod was $500 by itself.
The Ring is a remake of a japanese film called Ringu. So basically that fits his point about MPAA doing nothing but remakes and sequels.

This service is doomed to failure.
