And then, what happened? Case still hanging? Two guys got busted in Switzerland because of their FTP server where they (IFPI) somehow got in (was a closed FTP server, ie not anonymous).
You're not the only one. PHP together with cron is as powerful as perl is. I've been using PHP to boost out several tousands SMS within one weekend, using an opensource php class for submitting messages trough an XML API to the SMS Provider. Worked like a charm.
Prefbar improves my productivity at work because I can browse certain intranet sites which require IE with the faked user agent set to IE by prefbar. I don't need to switch to IE for browsing that type of site, time is money, productivity improves. Oh shit, there's still slashdot...
You can use the Skype Handset just with any kind of broadband internet connection, it doesn't matter what the underlying medium is (telephone wire, cable etc) and what it's based on.
If your IP shows up in the header at the correct place, you're most likely the real sender of the mail. If you find only your address as Return-path: and/or From:, then someone else (virus, spammer) is just abusing your address and you get all the bounces.
Not to forget Switzerland where ISPs have to block access to some nazi sites as well. Some provider even restricted access to rotten.com for no obvious reason.
I'm a customer there as well. First, their system just works and is not crappy at all. Second, they provide you either with a slick HTML interface over SSL for doing your banking anywhere with a browser and the style sheet looks good on Mozilla/Linux too, I've seen worse on other banks. Third, for users of Windows, Macintosh and Linux, they provide a Java Version which is much faster and has more possibilities than the "HTML Bank". And yes, the Linux version works fine. Not every other bank in Switzerland does this.
Not true. They plan to bust you (and they did) for downloading as well, although this might not be the case in the U.S. but for sure other countries, I think it was the U.K.
And if you think you're safe with an IP blacklist, you're wrong. Tracking companies change IPs more often than one would like to know.
And then, what happened? The question is, what are the real consequences here...

Above link returns an empty google cache page for me.

Or in other words, the europeans didn't hold up against those U.S. suckers.
In an article some time ago, this was covered already. It's quite interesting ro read, the relation to biotech is on page 4 (Monsate et al).
Mod's on crack? Look at the timestamp, so it's in no way redundant, it's almost-the-same-time...

Hm? It's p2p which most probably means that the stream gets forwarded/multiplied by nodes within the network itself.
Let your friends stream all their sound to you, rip it from the source, tear it apart and create a legal song archive. No, no profit here ;)
wrong italics :-) use beaches instead.

Happy Birthday :-)

You mean, the enormous throughput will impress her .-)
"FileZilla is a powerful FTP-client for Windows 9x, ME, NT4, 2000 and XP"
I think the grandparent refers to Linux.
And how do you connect to Exchange with tb?
Idiot. The globe is not safe when people like the U.S. gov are producing massive amounts of wars in order to "free the world". think about it.
