    all it will do is cause price increases, When I buy an OS I expect things like a media player/browser ect not lots of barely compatible junk to be installed (real player, quicktime ect) I wonder why MS keeps getting the brunt of it when linux distro's and macs come with way more software than windows anyway.

    I can't see how they possible use there windows market to create a monopoly in another market anyway, windows has always come with a media player its one of the reasons lots of people by it.

    they are not bad at dc-r media I was talking about dvd-r media, its supposdly not to grand at +r media either compared to other drives, but it all depends on what media you use, it would'nt evan recongize some emdia I bought untill I did a firmware upgrade and evan then it has problems.

    I just got a lite-on 811 and wish I had gone about doing better research first, the lite-ons are crappy with -r media.

    They don't want to watch drek though, it was'nt that many years ago I would watch alot of tv including drek just because there was little else todo, these days with games being so cheap and so much choice I only have time to watch show's that are definatly my fav. The problem of not watching tv will egtw orse as people's fav show's go off air as well, since like alot of people I'm sick of investing time into new shows just so they can be cancelled half way through season 1.

    yahoo already ruined there site when they started requiring every site to pay to be reviewed to be in there directory, it was a great directory before this but only business people can generally afford to throw money at getting there site listed certainly some mofo hosting his useful but small site on tripod can't.

    They still must add a few sites themselvwes though as mys ite did get added intot he directory but without a description probably because I did'nt pay up for the description lol.

    I would bet at least $1 they never paid anythingf or the licenses, I have an ev1.net server and they are one fo the cheapest hosting solutions around, t hey would'nt go throw around $699 for each copy of linux they use, I reckon they got it for free which works out for them if it turns out sco is right, and now puts pressure on other more expensive isp's to pay up cause a cheaper host can now offer protection, it's a win win for both sco and ev1.net if you ask me.

    To be fair it does'nt suck that much it's pointed me to the right place once or twice, and can be switched off. Sitefinder never pointed me to anything it just seemed to be all ads.

    In the uk, most places with arcades charge a really insane amount like 1 and some places have started charging 2, now this would'nt be a bad price but when an averge game lasts 60 seconds, it can get very expensive so I never play them unless I'm drunk, yet a few years ago there was a shop near me that only charged like 10/20p per a game, not bad arcades either and they'd change them often, would have me sinking a ton of money in, as I was getting valur for money, I just don't think there is much value for money in current arcade games, nearly every arcade machine I see these days has no one ever playing it.

    another point is evan if you get good at these aracade games you find these days they mostly only let you get so far (the games are really short).

    They should just charge less per a game and they'd probably make alot more money.

    I make my GF buy all my tech stuff, not like I buy much of it though, just because I hate taking stuff back to the shop evan if its broken, where as girls generally don't care about taking stuff back and getting refunds/exchanges ect.

    why not just make consoles skinable already like nokia phones, its not exactly as if it would be that hard todo, nokia was helped to where they where today by making there phones skinable, the same could be true for the first console maker that does, people like to personalize things, and which ever console they feel more personal with is the one they'll probably spend money on games for.

    ok I read this along time ago so its probably wrong.

    I thinkt he 4 armies are

    1) clone troopers (republic)
    2) droids (the people who they fight in ep1 and ep2 I guess and cloen wars series)

    3) rebels(from ep4 - 6)
    4) Empire (eps 4 - 6)

    as far as I know you can't mix armies from different periods so no empire vrs clone troopers ect

    This really only applies to the uk, but I am fairly sure other countries have similar laws.

    If an ad is wrong/offensive they can be forced to stop distributing it, this could be really expensive if you have already printed a million cd's.

    I'd also like to know if they ads in games evan fall under regulatory controls.

    I also don't like the idea of playing a differnt game to eevryone else, cause I assume any paid advertising will probably be localised to specific countries.

    would'nt it be better to leave them there rather than bringing them back, I'm not advocating killing anyone, I'm thinking more that if they take oxygen/water extractors they could set up a colony, it would make it far easier to resend other people in the future, plus then you don't have to worry about getting people back off mars.

    Europe already has a program albiet not everything is in place yet called Aurora whose eventually goal is a manned mission to the moon the to mars.

    It seems this could fit really well with america's goals, so hopefully they'll partner up, it'll be alot easier ont he esa as frankly they don't have the means to get a man into space yet.

    I'd love for them to release pokemon on other platforms I just don't see it happening though.

    My feeling is that sentence was meant something todo with pokemon events they have for pokemon games where you can go along and get a char loaded into your game, its usually the only way to get these chars withour cheating and they have had them for every pokemon game (gameboy anyway) so far.

    since this is about pokemon I would just like to mention I'm a little disapointed these are just rehashed pokemon games with updated graphics.

    they are going to take pictures on the 9th january, maybe they'l release them hopefully, since the more eys that scan them the better since if ti shows it'll only be small.
