Vista tries to predict your program use by monitoring you work habits it learns you run office every morning so it loads your mail app well in advance and keeps it in memory. Vista will make use of any available memory whereas xp only took what it needed i think its called super-fetch or something. Its a feature!
let it begin

soon after release you will be able to buy a blu-ray burner all you have to do is rip the protection and 'roll your own' just like we do with dvd today.
copy protection is doomed to fail because the scheme is fixed you only have to break it once and anything using that scheme is also unlocked.
The external tee command is used to write to the standard output and to a file simultaneously. You place the tee command anywhere in a pipe command to divert a copy of the standard input (of tee) to disk and another copy to your terminal. Thus its name is from the world of plumbing; it allows one input and two outputs. The tee command actually allows multiple file copies. For example,
sort unsorted | tee sorted | cut -c-20,41- | tee cutup | lp

Personally, I perfer http://www.gamecopyworld.com/, which supports nearly every game imaginable, so it can be used with game discs. (Ex. I do not have to go searching for my Warcraft III disc, I just have to crack it, (even though Warcraft III has copy protection on the disc.)
From www.macromedia.com:
Macromedia Flash can use the fscommand action to control the playback and appearance of standalone projectors, as well as launch external applications. The fscommand action takes two parameters: a command and an argument. In some cases, an argument is not required.

no doubt this is the same thing that happened with each of the gt series ie. they promote the replay because it looks amazing but the actual game is pretty standard.
I could be wrong however - it would be good to be wrong even.
