Yes I'm one of those people that like to write many short instructions and I comment on nearly everything. My philosophy has always been that I should understand what the hell I did even after being hit over the head. So some comments become very obvious and the d'oh factor is sometimes quite high.
I'm not a teacher, so my experience comes from being a math student at university. It was a long time since I started, then I went to work and now I'm back to finish my degree. So I have noticed a difference, from personal experience and talking to my fellow students and just observing them and how they go about solving and talking about problems.
I can see there is a slight change in focus in how the courses are taught. What was concidered important previously is not as important anymore. I don't think they have removed all the hard parts, but they removed some unnecessary once. The focus of what is important has shifted.
It used to be a lot about memorizing information such as formulas and applying that to fairly straight forward problems.
These days there seems to be more of identify the problem, remove the fluff information and look up the formula in a book. Which can naturally have a big drawback cause now some people don't bother learning anything but instead just troll thru the formula compendium trying to find something to apply on their problem. The upside being that some of the things you had to memorize previously where perhaps not that useful except for finishing your math courses.
The teachers I have spoken to have mentioned that new students tend to have a lower level of understanding these days compared to previous generations. So they have to spend more time explaining things that they should already know instead of progressing ahead and explaining new things.
On that note I spoke to a guest teacher that was from southern Europe and apparently there is quite a difference in what is concidered important there compared to here (northern Europe). They apparently have a more proof based teaching method, (dis)prove this or that statement, while we in the north are more into solving problems; Identify it, prepare it and then "crunch the numbers". Clearly there might also then be a cultural difference on what is concidered to be important.
So I'm not certain it has actually become so much easier, I might have just become better. But I'm certain that the focus on what is important has changed.
Is it just me or are all these "problems" only problems in areas where "white" is the dominant (or substitute "white" for "male" and compare it to female)? Just let everyone do whatever it is they do that they are good at and enjoy. Nothing gets better cause you use somekinda quota to get more people in from different groups just for the sake of diversity.
Seem to be something in cattle that can only be aquired thru mutilation. Then there is all that rectal probing. "Rednecks" from backwater parts of the south. All that plus they apparently have some kinda deal with the aluminum industry with all them tinfoil hats we need to keep our brainwaves intact.

OUTSOURCING. They had someone else do the wiretapping for them. Just like they don't use "harsh interrogation" techniques themselves they get someone else to do it for them. Same here.. They missed the information and then had to trade, buy or acquire it somehow from some other friendly agency.
I'll go out on a limb here since I can't back it up with a number but the investigation regarding the murder of Prime Minster Olof Palme, starting in 1986, is guaranteed to have produced way more then 1500 pages.
... about 18 months ago Senator Stevens thought us all that the Internet was like a serious of tubes and that they can not contain endless amounts of information before the system becomes clogged. So you'll never have to deal with information overload since the information will never reach you. Hench no information overload. This surplus information will instead be pipes down the digital brigde to nowhere, aka/dev/null.
Oh how I loathe these kinda big brother success stories. One little glorious success validates the entire program and should make us forget about all the real and potential abuse that the system brings. Cause if we don't then we have something to hide and/or are pro-crime.

In China these are all crimes which carry a hefty prison sentence. Leaking state secrets, subverting the government etc are more or less considered crimal or treasonous acts everywhere not only in China and these acts always carry hefty prison sentences or even death. But then this is China so I guess it's ok to say just about anything and get away with it, GOGO objectivity!
