I prefer AVG. I've been using it now for awhile, and I have most of my family + friends on it. When people ask me what to use, I recommend it. Doesn't bloat my system and it actually finds threats.
Yeah, but what you must realize... all the consoles pushed.. maybe 20% still play the wii. Mine's been collecting dust as my brothers and my best friends wifes. She bought wii fit, played it for like 2 weeks then that fad wore off. I play my 360 4-5 times a week.. My wii gets used when someone comes over, and even then the fad has kind of worn off.
One reason my sister still requires us to buy VHS is quite simple. The tapes dont get scratched. I have three nieces [9(today), 7 and 4]. I bought her a DVD-From-TV that she's been wanting. The kids arent old enough to handle the DVD's. Yeah, they try but any parent knows that kids have STICKY fingers and every surface in the house is sticky. The DVD's and CDs get scratches, crud and all sorts of goo on them. It's now to a point where I had to give them an old machine to put all their music on because I was duplicating a cd they either snapped in half, scratched or lost. My sister has a locked cabinent with all the DVDs that the kids cant touch, but then in the kids play room, there is a shelfs full of VHS. They add new ones every week, and thanks for TIVO.. Shes got so many series from Disney channel and Nickelodeon on tape. So until the girls are old enough to handle CDs with care, and lets face it.. even as adults we still scratch, crack and ruin these discs. So I can see why she wont go away from the medium completely.
MECHASSAULT is a kind of game you can only play 10 times until it becomes the same thing over and over. The thing I miss is EA games not being on live. Its a shame that EA is so greedy. The market games for EA would go up if they agreed to microsofts terms. I havent bought a few EA games because they dont go on live. Not only that, the annoying kids who voice change. Live has the idea, but they need to work games that can handle more people. Then they need to work on the drop issues. After that, paying for content is stupid. Once you buy the game, you should be entitled to any update, upgrade or addon that is released.

I had an old copy of visual basic and I learned how to program. Making 1000$ a month at 1st, then 3000$ a week, then 80 thousand a year. I have stoped spamming in the past 6 months because well its too hard and legal issues are a tougher thing to face. I do know some kids who make around 5 thousand dollars a day spamming and have never really worked a day in thier life. However the way they spam is highly illegal and its a matter of time before they get caught. As far as products, we used to advertise anything and everything from credit cards to penis pills. I know you ask yourself who actually buys this stuff? Well we would get a sale every 1-5 minutes, spamming about 5 million people a day. As products got older the pornography came back into play. As we call them "dialers". You download an ative-x plugin and it dials a 1-900 number over sea's. I could never picture myself into buying anything I ever advertised, or anything I ever got inside my mailbox (except unlimited long distance back in the late 90's) However, that little dialer program pulled in about 1-3 dollars a minute. I'd get over a thousand minutes a day. I had paypal payments sent to me every night at midnight. If you need proof I have scanned some of my old checks. Fed-x would be at my door monday, wednesday and friday with checks from people all over the world. I've now moved into the ebay market selling electronics I get from over sea's (if you have ever been to japan you can get stuff nearly 80% cheaper then in the states) I buy in bulk, hundreds of units have it delivered and I sell it on ebay. I make over 60% profit and thats pulling in about 250-400$ a day. Easy work considering I wake up at noon, play video games, prepare my fed-x pick-up and play some more xbox. Oh yeah, then sleep.

Is it just me or is todays music over run by chart toping pop-punk and sissy boy band rock music? I havent bought a CD in probably 3 years because there is no such thing as good music anymore. The few songs I do want I download for free because its not worth paying 15$ for a cd. As far as movies go why pay 8.50 for a ticket, 4.50 for a soda and 4.50 for a pop corn when I can rent the movie from block buster( and even they are expensive) and watch in the comfort of my own home. Pause if i need to pee or answer the phone?

You can actually get the latest build of this beta software from Keyword: beta. Once you are accepted the code name of the application (AOL for BROADBAND / AOL PLUS / AOL SERVICE PACK 1 / AOL 9.0) is actually named Blue Hawaii. The GUI is all blue, And the service has totaly gone through a new face lift from the 8.0 version. I must say I do like the features they are implenting.
As the question asked before about the video streams, if both users have broadband connections, the video is actually as good as MS Netmeeting. Its not always the speed of the service, but the frame rate of your camera. Cheaper the camera, slower the frame rate. This beta also includes the many of the fun features of AIM. File transfers, Direct Connect to send pictures, Voice Chat, and a new feature (Webcams). I'm also going to add the latest beta of AIM has resolved most of firewall issues people were having. There are 3 different ways to connect to someone now. It solved all of my issues with my home network firewall and my office firewall. Looks like AOL is on the right track to getitng its service going. The next major feature will be McAfee implenmented into the email service like msn and yahoo currently do. That beta test is going pretty smooth. I just cant wait till they start streaming movies. These large trailers they keep releasing (animatrix / matrix) Rumor is its just a test of what kind of bandwidth they will need. Start small, then go big I guess. Should be intresting how AOL begins the climb back to the top.
and out of curiosity, I know we all love to hate it, how many of us actully DO USE AOL?

Has anybody else been getting this stuff? I've gotten 4 text messages already for text message spam. I hope this isnt the next big trend in bothering me. Next they will staple a news paper ad to our foreheads and pay us to walk around.
