    I am currently working on a water cooled PC. However I would like to move the powersupply out to another location. Can anyone see a problem with 20 foot long extremely well shielded low resistance power supply cables? The box will be alluminum with TONS of vents, but no fans in a room with 65 degree farenheit ambient tempature. And yes, even the harddrive is water cooled, in its own airtight enclosure. (still kept cool by water)

We could call it the CowboyNeal anti-post-duplication algorithm. Then I realized something, they already have a search bar that can do that....

    Working in Technical support for a government website frequented by technophobes with college aged children, I can't count the times I have had people scared to death because their computer had encountered an illegal operation. One woman started yelling at her kids for putting that &#*!ing nappy (napster I am guessing) thing on their machine. It took me 15 minutes to explain the situation to her.. after the 10 minutes of telling her to calm down.. at least she wasn't one of the criers.

    At first I was invisioning swarms of evil robots run by Windows XP (xterminate People edition). Chasing the poor children and trying to run them down, only to tell them that Open source is illegal (well if they had thier way...). They would be the ears and the eyes of big brother. Then I realised that a bunch of script kiddies would just take them over for the obvious pornographic potential (locker rooms). On a side note, ignore me I confused my paxil with vicadin again...

    Your absolutely right... The console market is running on an outdated buisiness model. I propose that console makers should sell their consoles at a profit. Consumers will obviously choose the best console system blindly and at a price of $450+ dollars. Who needs to build a following anyways right? Parents really don't care about an upfront cost when buying a console for their kids. I know my parents would love to spend that much every holiday season...

    Making a true 3D copy of the token CAN be done. The glass and the epoxy will both have different densities. Using either sound or non-visibile light, it would be possible to make a 3-d density map of the token, based on that infomation you need to just place glass spheres in the disired locations before the epoxy settles and you have a copied token. Of course if the were smart, they would use broken glass instead of an easy to duplicate fragment like a sphere.

    The reason that the projectors are mounted vertically vs. horizontally is simple, the projectors used would need a horizontal keystone ajustment to mount them next to eachother. These projectors were orginally designed to be used alone. It is reasonable for the manufacturer to assume that adding a horizontal keystone ajustment wouldn't be cost effective in this low-end of a projecor because they are usually placed center perpendicualar to the projection surface anyways.
