Good point actually. However, I'm sure it won people with limited hard drive space, because of its great file size, compared to mp3.

  3. Ogg? on MP3 Winners and Losers for 2003 · · Score: 3, Interesting

I don't really think Ogg Vorbis is a loser this year, in fact I think otherwise. It got tremendous exposure from being the main audio format in RH, and a lot of open source big wigs are pushing for it. It at least caught my attention, all my CD rips are now in Ogg Vorbis format.

  5. xbox is better for this on PS2 Exploit Allows Running of Unsigned Code · · Score: -1, Offtopic

I doubt many people are going to latch onto the idea of running unsigned code on their ps2. It's a much better process on the xbox, and the things you can do with and xbox are endless.

  6. what a real disease! on Working with ADHD? · · Score: 1

Notice how in the past 5 years, there has been an increase in people who say they suffer from "ADHD". What its really become is dumping ground for doctors who don't know what to really diagnose you with. Then these people can parade around saying how "I have ADHD, I need special treatment!", when actually, you just can't shut up and sit still for more than 5 minutes.

Yes, I myself am in this club, and frankly, we have nothing to do. Our advisor himself is a complete idiot who feels the need to use key phrases and buzzwords to make up for what he doesn't understand. I'm not even sure why he's the advisor at all. What we need is a good project that would confuse him and keep him quiet, while we just go about doing it.

I can see this getting way out of hand very quickly. Everytime some new virus hits inboxes across the world, this kind of class would become the easy scapegoat. While teaching them how to make viruses may be in good faith and in fact it is probably quite interesting, the rammifications are just to big for this class to be a success. Who knows, maybe we'll the the "I Love Hockey" virus out of it.
