Bad example, as movie theatres make most of their cash off of the concessions and not the ticket prices. Don't believe me? A 600mL bottle of Coke costs about eight cents to make (not including bottle). Translate that into the prices at the theatre.

Of the five last movies I downloaded, I purchased all five of them. DVD prices are so ridiculously low right now that it doesn't make any sense to *not* buy anything that you're interested in. Napoleon Dynamite is worth its weight in gold, for example. It's so sweet. It's totally... awesome. It's incredible.

My ISP, Sasktel in Saskatchewan, Canada has recently implemented a spam filtering service that has so far resulted in 2 false positives and no delivered spam. It completely blocks all virused emails as well. Finally, it sends out an email every once in a while to remind me to check the status of spam at the online message centre, where you can look at all email sent to me that is "suspicious."

They also have a fairly comprehensive policy against hosting spammers, which is nice to hear. I know that many of my friends who use other ISPs have been recently flooded with spam, but I've not had any problems thus far. It's nice to have an ISP that cares about its customers!

Since they come from all around you, you need to watch out for the bugs with your peripherial vision. For *weeks* after going through a couple Crimsonland marathons, I couldn't even use a computer because it looked like various bugs were "creeping" in on me, even when I was browsing the net or whatnot. I sat there once, watching a "bug" crawl around in my peripherial vision, and *knew* that I needed to stop playing it.
