You should be happy about it. WE PAY FOR THE WATER RESULTED FROM THE RAIN!!! The tax says something like you must pay x amount/square meter of roof * m(the average quantity of raining water in a year in your region) - the resulted amount is small per capita, but is a tax. Is buried somewhere with other taxes and most of the people don't even know that they pay it. On the other hand I pay 25 lei(~7.8$) for 5-6 Mb/s download and 4-5 Mb/s. And I have the latency to play TF2 on UK servers. Oh.. and no caps. And forgive the kid that uses DC++ most of the techies around here moved years ago to torrents.

So true... when I start on a server I usualy just work hard to make the first gold... or beg for it. What ever is my mood. After that I go strait for lowest ore... if is cheaper then the bar, I turn it into bars. If not I buy what ever is under a certain price and sell everything at that price. Usually I can corner the market for lower ore in a few days and make around 50 gold in 24-48 hours from starting on that server. After that is buying and waiting for the stupid players to put high prices due to lack of resources. And sell well below that. And you can move on and make loads of money with other items. The start is the hardest.

Oh yeah... tell me about that one click automation. I just came back from a client, they have 32 computers - all with more then 512mb and >2ghz cpus some brand name and some white boxes. I work alone so it took me ~7 days to backup everything, redo the network and clean all the machines. Had to clean install some of the machines. So I said to my self let's take CT's offline update, update all the machines to sp3 and latest and then let the autoupdate do it's work... in the first day everything was fine. All fine and dandy until the next day when almost every machine would lose the ability to print locally and in network... some would restart the print spool service others would just drop any print job given to them. All thanks to sp3. Most of the printers have drivers that predate sp2. So don't tell me that update would solve everything. For me autoupdate was a bigger pain then not having it.

Vista is in a constant state of sucking:
    0) Useless clicking... the same task compared to XP your are going to get double the clicks and prompts.
    1) What ever you do on the HDD it asks you for admin... you can elevate your program to admin, but that is of limited help. What ever you do is going to take you longer than on XP. Copy/remove operations are down to a crawl compared to XP. And yes the system is up to date with sp1.
    2) Want to unrar something with a third party program that calls a rar.dll no luck... is going to ask you for admin rights to write on C:\ you give it, it's ok... but if there is another directory in that file, you are out with a prompt telling you the program has no right to write a subdir. Not Vistas fault you'll say.. but is annoying as hell.
    And there are more...
Like vista deciding that my XP partion needs a chkdsk at start up... and at the next reboot good bye MBR you will be missed.

So vista compared to XP sucks big time.

And why do you feel the need to cover your arse from all directions saying that you use Ubuntu, used OS X. But you call us fanboys...

My gripe with Vista is that is not an improvement on XP.

Oh yes. And it gets annoying as hell when you need thing done in a hurry and plug your flash drive or something else in your PC and you are working writing something in word. All of a sudden you have to halt everything just to say allow to something else, that could just go in background and not put everything in background.

Don't fucking ask me if I want to install something if I have the stupid autorun removed, just ask me when I want to access the device.

There are the little things in Vista that makes it so ugly. Like trying to change the screen resolution, why the fuck do I have to open 3 windows just for that and close them one by one? What was wrong with 2000/XP way of doing it?
Why on earth would I want 6 ways to get to the same option opening as many windows?

Or why not just give me a command line to get where I want. I can type faster then mouse navigating to what I want.

I know I'm not your average PC user, I'm a PC tech. But if you are making my job harder I'll go my way around to swing my customers away from it, not that I need to do that anymore.

The only thing I hate is the hang up at the shut down. I expect to press the power button and be done with it... but no, something has to pop up and ask me for interaction. So now my power button sends my computer in sleep mode. And I shut it down only when I'm out for a day or so.
