    If you have a Nokia phone, you don't need this app to find out that information. Just do an internet search and find out how to enable the "field test" menu on the phone. The info in it may be a little crpytic, but it's all in there.

    All GSM calls, even mobile-to-mobile in the same cell, have to go through an MSC. Law Enforcement typically taps into the MSC when they are performinc surveillance. What it boils down to is that there be one bidirectional line coming from the switch to each mobile user and a third outgoing line routed directly to the police.

    Let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater. The total lack of patents would put the indivual inventor out of business, because he/she would never be able to compete with large corporations.

    Just as braille displays are an alternative to "regular" monitors, I am sure there are plenty of alternative email providers that don't do this. A free market has a way of providing alternatives when there is a need.

    Once you get Firebird, install the Safari Theme from here. (A great Firebir theme site by the way)

    And to get the more precise Safari look just turn off the status bar from the View menu. :)
