Not saying it is but since the Wii doesn't provide a HD experience you can say that the whole platform is crippled. Depends on what you want. If you've listed to the E3 1UP podcasts they kept referring that the Wii could of been a Gamecube accessory, only if they did that then developers would not of been able to fully support that kind of accessory if everyone didn't have it. So Nintendo made a whole platform out of it.
So don't drink potion or make them. Master illusion and just paralyze your enemy or conjuration and conjure a powerful monster to fight for you. So open, so beuatiful.
Those PS3 Untold Legends screen shots really scream next gen. Seriously, the ocnsole just launched. I think Fight Night 3, GRAW and Oblivion are doing the job quite nicely. I haven't played Condemned as of yet but I hear it's also a stunner as well as PGR3 which renders some really gorgeous cities. Had enough yet?

Best online service intergrated into every game, fully intergrated XBL Arcade of which I spend way too much time with, downloadable demos so I don't have to subscribe to any mags for discs and of course GRAW and the upcoming Oblivion. I've never had a more incredible experinece with a console as I've had with the 360.
Now that you've "read" that maybe you can actually visit a friends house who has one and an HDTV and actaully try it.

The PS2 came out nearly a year before the Xbox 1 yet it's replacement we likely won't see for 6-9 months.
Sure it's getting a little long in the tooth no doubt, but good high quality and fun games are still being made for it (We love Katamari, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War, MGS3)
If there was game that should of been on a next gen console it is Shadow Of the Colossus. God Of War came out some time ago if I remember as did MSG3 so I really don't understand the relevance of these games to the topic. Developers are free to make Xbox games. There is still a very healhty population of Xbox owners. Hell, I just bought Toca 3 today for the Xbox.
The Xbox on the other hand is FINALLY getting some really good games coming out for it, it's more powerful than the PS2, it has better hardware features (hard disk, network in all, Xbox live is far better designed, even the cables with that clever "don't destroy the console" quick release) - yet MS are replacing it barely at 4 or 5 years of age for the Xbox.
It's very well known and accepted why MS launched when they did I don;t have to spell it out for you becuase if you can't fighure it out for yourself they you have no reason posting on gaming releated message boards.

The 360 by far is the most functional console that has ever been produced. The first day I got my 360, popped in PGR3 (gorgeous), downloaded the Fight Night 3 and NFS Most Wanted demos and played them. Connected the 360 to my media center PC and streamed a movie off of it. Played music stored on my ipod in game PGR3. Downloaded Geometry Wars evolved off of Xbox Live Arcade. Just f**king wow. Is it good? OMFG what a noob!
*Force Feedback support, Sony can do it, MS paid Immersion for the licensing costs, where is it?

The 360 system seller is not a game. It's called Christmas. Seriously, your're going to be hard pressed to find one this holiday season, at least in the US. It will be the hottest electronics this holiday season and it also has some very anticipated games, continuing franchises and new IPs. All in all a great combination. The 360 does not need Halo like the Xbox did.

That 15 cents a day gets you downloadable content, a closed network that does not allow cheating (see SOCOM on the PS2), a gamertag that follows you everywhere, friends list with 100 entries, voice chat, voice messaging and very soon video conferencing. Oh you also get to play online games:) Me thinks good value. We have 2 accounts:)

I don't know what your're expecting but the nVidia PS3 chips are done. There won't be any discernable difference between the PS3 and the 360.
