Is all I have to say, I'm rather disgusted by this. And what do they do after you register? Can your site be shut down if they don't "agree" with your site (ideas)? And they should know they cannot regulate this outside of sites served from China, so what's the point? This just annoys me.
But what makes you think that you will be able to run Mac OS on any Intel machine? Up until Macs have run on proprietary hardware so they did not have to support many devices. If they sold their OS as just an OS they would have to have the same kind of driver support that Windows has accumulated.
This is probably true but I know for a fact that I would buy an Intel Mac because I could put Windows AND my favorite Linux AND Mac all on the same dual-booting machine. That's very apetizing for me seeing as I've never been into multiple-computer setups. Multiple OS single computers sounds great.
I'm not trying to troll but I've not heard of this story and the article didn't offer much insight. How did this come about, why is Microsoft in court for not providing interoptability with some technologies? If someone could explain the situation that'd be great, thanks.:]

I don't understand why people continously point out that the latest search engines look like google. If something works well, why do you expect people to try things radically different?
Consider though that you probably troubleshoot windows ten times more, so even if it only takes 20 minutes to find a solution that's still 200 minutes, where as opposed to your 180 minutes of time it takes to solve your one Mac problem. And I don't know about you but I don't think it's fair to complain about how little many problems you have with a system, and I find it hard to believe that any problem you would run into isn't already documented.

This isn't true for normal CRT screens though right? I've used Windex on mine for quite awhile and I havn't noticed anything except a clean screen. :]
