    You do realise the bulk of "National Secrets" are secrets explicetely to keep it out of reach of american public. When your government fight a secret war, people getting bombed are aware of it. Also, paranoia dont do good for long term international relationships.

    I agree, I highly doubt porn, youtube and netflix are stored indefinitely. Think IM and email... what matters can be stored for a very long time. If google and facebook can do it, so the feds.

    Something seems to be very wrong with LXDE... on my XFCE netbook I see no noticeable performance hit with compositing and battery life is very similar in both cases. Have you submitted a bug report to LXDE?

    Last windows I actually used was vista on a laptop. With composition activated I lost 25% battery life, deactivated I got a UI so ugly its not even funny jocking about it. I went to linux and will never looked back.

    I much prefer the simplicity and conservatism of XFCE4. Can optionally use compositing too and no need to relearn interface.

    Somewhat, I find unicorns (horse genetic mutation after all) are much more plausible than a "benevolent" god that punish people who enjoy life and planted dinosaur bones to trick us into thinking the earth is older than 6000 years.

    Translation: I have seen plenty of iPhones but iPads are rarely seen by me, thus I consider them to be an expensive toy.
