    You are correct.

    I currently use NoScript, CookieSafe, RefControl and Adblock; now I want a CSS preference extension. Maybe I should create a rolled-up extension "NoNothing" which administers preferences for Script, Cookies, Referrer and CSS on a site-by-site basis.

    Somehow they don't seem to realize that pop-ups are meant to be an unnatural experience that indicates a decision is necessary.

    Uh huh. I know a number of people who are absolutely terrified of flying, imagine being hassled by some dickhead thug is really going to help. Mind you, these people are the kind to pop a couple diazepam before flying so they might be OK after all.

    I absolutely hate site suggestions when I mistype an URL. Why? Because if the url contains the phrase "kicks-ass", my ISP starts advertising porn.

    You don't even need a 'suggestions' feature for that. S[pc]ammers and pr0n site operators have bought up every conceivable typo/variation of any popular domains already.

    I think the most efficient call centre would be distributed to stay-at-home mums using asterisk.

    You could also do generic horoscopes/numerology via email -- less demand on people skills that way, could be automated.

    When will someone either come up with full-body haptics or a direct neural interface.
    I'm voting for the former, I really don't want a script kiddie raiding my brain.

    When I google it it seems that people are concentrating mainly on stimulating touch receptors.
    While that's an important component, I want something like a suspended exoskeleton
    to provide actual force feedback to as many muscle groups as possible.

    Bring on the virtual wushu.
