The website http://www.snocap.com/ has a cheesy demo which only shouts about COPYRIGHT and digital rights management/inventory. I had expected more brilliant things from Shawn Fanning after Napster, but it looks like that he was a flash of the pan.

    I remember the days when my PC used to run win98 with 32MB RAM and later I had shelled out around 100 bucks to upgrade it to 32+64=96MB. WinXP's minimum memory requirement was 128MB and recommendation was 256MB. At that time it felt outrageous.

    The article claims that because Vista will require 1-2GB of RAM, it will drive the memory prices up. I don't think that was the case in the past and as far as I remember memory prices came down steadily after windows-XP was released. I doubt that WindowsVista will cause inflation in the RAM price

    I've been waiting for it to index Thunderbird mail, because Thunderbird's search is pretty slow. It claims to do that now.

    Even the previous version was indexing thunderbird emails. I use it all the time and it kicks ass. Caveat is that Thunderbird should be open, otherwise it wont index thunderbird emails
