    misprint in date

    FTA: Hewlett-Packard regained its position as the world's largest PC maker in the fourth quarter, while the industry overall saw shipments increase in the quarter and in 2002 as a whole.

    This isn't to say that HP hasn't regained the top spot, but this article actually is out of date. There is no typo. It's the wrong article.

    Having looked at the Guba Website, I'd be amazed if they could find anything on there. There seems to be some horrific bugs in the javascript making the site damn near impossible to navigate.

    for humans, it's a suffix. for computers it's a prefix.

    only to find that every file on their XFS filesystems has been filled with zeroes.

    A similar thing happened to me, but it was just one file, /dev/zero. I even tried switching filesystems, but that didn't fix it.

    Yea, the delisting notice was expected after Dell said earlier this month that it was unable to file its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended Aug. 4 due to questions raised in an accounting investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

    To be fair, the laptop where dell was storing all of the 10-Q data mysteriously exploded.

    I used to use that screensaver too. One time, my old roommate accidentally locked my computer. When BSOD came up, he thought it had crashed.

    That's how I discovered he was looking at porn on my computer.
