One of the technologies swept wings are being replaced with is thrust vectoring, which allows the plane to change the direction of the engine exaust, this allows a plane with a good pilot/computer to have extreme manuverability compared to normal aircraft.
The F-22 has up/down thrust vectoring, the X-31 has full directional controls, as well as the Su-35(or 37, not sure). One trick ive seen the Su do is to vector the thrust upwards as far as it will go, while pulling back on the stick, which turns so rapidly that for a short time the plane flies backwards...the vectoring also helps with nearly instant recovery of the insuing stall.
Upon some further googling, I found some info on the X-44 MANTA project, which is a modified F22 with uses thrust vectoring to completely replace almost all control surfaces (still in concept stage) X-44 Concept Drawing
The Concorde's nose can change position to either give the pilots a better view of the runway, or to reduce drag, the wings, however, do not.

Speaking from personal experiance..the population threshold for pooling the money to build a church is much lower than that required to get anyone to even consider giving the area dialup access, much less anything better.
There is a thiving community build around engine work for Doom, Quake, and Quake 2, at least. And i'm sure there are others out there that I just havn't looked for yet.
Maybe this one is just wierd, but the Walmart I usuly go to (not much choice, I live in the sticks) has several copies of GTA3 and Vice City, MOH:AA, the Half-Life Platinum collection, etc., etc.
They don't seem to have any problem carrying M rated games (I'm pretty sure those are..I know damn well GTA is, but I'm just guessing on the others)

You had to have the monitors on diffrent pcs, and networked, but you could use three monitors, one in front, and one on each side...so you could see what was beside you by turning your head rather than your character. Ive never had the chance to test it myself though.
I havn't seen that episode, but supposidly he is modeled after Professor Higgins from Pygmalion/My Fair Lady.
From your description, that episode is most certianly a parody of that story, as Higgins says the same thing about Eliza's speach (also cockney).
Higgins was most definatly upper class british.
They bought Vatican City. Gates as seen shaking hands with the Pope, while giving a speach about their 'extend and embrace' policy toward Roman Catholics.
SCO seems to have taken it down now, but they at one time had a page which described several 'Open Source Leaders' as hackers with no respect for the rights of others, including ESR, Bruce Perens, Linus Torvalds, and Richard Stallman. They then called the above IBM sockpuppets in their 'Everyone is out to get us!' press release.
SCO has already givin up their right to be treated as professionals.
Considering the fact that Aricebo is a radio telescope, i don't think you'll get much of a view. (well, aside from the fact that the telescope itself is quite a view...)
Wow, this must be some new defenition of 'ignore' that I was not aware of. This hole was posted on Slashdot back in March when it was found, nice try, but no cigar for you.
Now that is wierd..never seen that before.

I doubt rural areas will get much use out of it.
You obviously havn't looked very hard.

They do, however, carry the censored music.
Darl has stated that the *BSDs are his next target...you really think that settlement will stop him? He doesn't listen to reason for anything else...
Heh, so did I...it wasn't until I read your post and went back to read it again that I noticed it wasn't :P
Thats the source for the kernel interface, not the X driver itself..thats a binary.
6) Thankfully, there is no 'undelete' function in the can Youve obviously never had a sceptic tank back up while the wash is draining...ewww :)
I had 8-9 warts on my right hand a few years ago, and several small ones on my face.
:)
:)
The face ones were surgicly removed (cut and burned...ow)
The ones on my hand dissappeared after swimming in a friends pool..they were raw afterward, and a few days later were gone.
That pool was slightly over clorinated
Now, those hand warts were scheduled to be surgicly removed the next week, needless to say I wasn't complaining about the pool
Stop with your incessent Monty Python quotings, you silly english kaniggets.

Doom could do it..sort of.

Every other language on earth is the same, except maybe the dead ones...but thats just because nobody uses them.
Languages change over time, deal with it.
Ive seen a screenshot of it displaying the 'Hacked by Chinese!' Code Red page, but I didn't see it myself, so it may have been faked.
Unless its a defacement, and someone notices, you probobly wouldn't hear about it.

An MP5? Is that all? Not not being grusome enough... 8 ga. shotgun, need I say more?
8 did circle the moon, and was the first to do so...and while 12 did land, it wasn't the first, 11 was.
